You’re right. It’s spin to imply that we had any success in 2017. There’s literally been two CWS finals since then as last year was cut short. Many people want to comment on 2009 like we haven’t been in the final 8 teams with a chance to compete for a championship since then. It’s disingenuous. Only mentioning 2009 is the interesting way to spin it. I’m not going to spend all my time trying to get people to see how bad the program supposedly is, especially when there are very few programs that have been equal to or better than ours.

That’s is baseball. Taking more that 1 or 4 or 7 games and coming up with a conclusion on a team. LSU sucked could hit, couldn’t field, couldn’t pitch with consistancy . They had a comeback tie and the fire was lit. Got to give them time. It also works the opposite way. Teams look dominate early and fall apart.
