could be 24-22 going into the 4th Score a TD to go up 31-22 half way through the qtr then a very late TD to ice it 38-22 I would call that ugly against this Carolina team

This^^^

We’ll struggle the entire game and it’ll be a dogfight. We’ll play down to their level for 3 quarters, but eventually our talent will be too much for them, and will overtake the game.

If we lsoe any of our games leading up to Ole Miss from this point on, it's going to be a really bad season. There is zero excuse to lose to a FCS team this weekend, bad USC team next weekend who could barely beat Old Dominion at home, a bad UCLA team who barely got by Hawai'i and then South Alabama who just got beat by North Texas by 2 TD at home.

These arent game we should just win, we should be crushing these teams by 2+ TD each (Nicholls and South Alabama by A LOT more than just that)

Winning on the road is tough in this conference, no matter who the opponent is, never take it for granted.

That said, I think SC is the worst team in the conference.

Without a doubt in my mind if Kelly loses this game especially in embarrassing fashion he’s in deep shite.

"deep shite" how? That turnpiketiger doesn't like him or have faith in him? BK holds ALL of the leverage. LSU made a big commitment to him to bring him over from ND. They aren't going to pay an enormous sum of money to back out of it just three years in.

Be frustrated that he lost his 3rd opener in a row, in a game where he and his team made mistakes to lead to the loss. Question whether or not he will be able to win a championship at LSU. But any talk today about him being on the "hot seat" is absurd. He's not getting fired after this season, or next season, and probably the season after that.

South Carolina sucks. Maybe the worst team in the league this year.

South Carolina is a train wreck. If lsu has any trouble with them then they got serious issues

Their d line is pretty good and their qb is a good running threat (like a Robby Ashford type), but otherwise the team is awful and we should beat them easily. Pitchforks need to come out if we lose to them.

Perk should probably spy Sellers all game. Take away his legs and make him beat you with his arm

So you actually believe it’s acceptable for Kelly to not only lose 3 openers in a row but then to turn around and lose to a bottom 3 team in the SEC? Do you understand what hot seat means?

Did Harbor play in their first game? If so, he didn’t show up in the box score

Harbor is very talented and they have several transfer WRs, but none looked that special. Like i said before the season, Sellers at QB is a redshirt freshman getting his first starting game reps. That OL still doesn't look good either. Kid does not have the passing down. Most teams will stack the box and force him to beat them passing.

As for defensively, they got a nice 5 star true freshman DE that saved the game for them against ODU and a great transfer DL and a nice returning DT. I really don't see their defense giving LSU a huge hassle. I mean they are decent defensivley, nice DL that could be nasty in the second half of the season, but i don't see them being ready for LSU.

People thinking that they will give LSU a fight early in the morning on Saturday, i just don't see it. LSU needs to throw the ball heavy on them and knock them and their fanbase out the game early.

This South Carolina team will be a lot better in fhe second half of the season. I'd rather face Florida late in the year than South Carolina.

Hopefully we don’t give them any reason to think they can win…….if we come out aggressive we should win easily.
UCLA may be a lot closer than it should be I’m afraid……..I was at the South Alabama opener vs North TX and they are not good at all and very small. We will score 50+ on them and they may not score twice on LSU. That will be a lopsided game for sure.

South Carolina doesn't concern me at all.

The one game on the schedule that just scares the be-hay-sus out of me is Arkansas, on the road. And we get the pigs the week after Ole Miss, while Arky enjoys a BYE WEEK ADVANTAGE.

I will be there as well, first time to that stadium, I'm in the area on business and decided to stay over. Staying at the Cambria Suites....not sure if anyone else from LSU staying there.
