Their offense looked bad against old dominion.

They play Kentucky this weekend so we will learn more and hopefully they will get a little beaten up.

We should absolutely beat them but on the road it could be closer than we like and In a close game anything can happen.

Lanorris Sellers is a major running threat, but he had a rough one against OD. 10 for 23 for 114 yards, no TD’s.

They beat old dominion by 4. If we lose to them Kelly is on the hot seat

That's not how college football works.

This will be a dogfight, and LSU will be fortunate to get out of there with a win.

I do like that South Carolina has to go to Kentucky this weekend. That should be a real physical game for the cocks.

We still don't know if LSU's front seven can hold up against a team committed to running the ball. I'd expect South Carolina to run the ball 40+ times against LSU.

If USCe is in any way a dogfight, we have big problems.

Strength: don’t have BK as coach

Weakness: they are not LSU.

With that, LSU will be lucky to win.

28-24 LSU hangs on in a squeaker as Kelly continues to play conservatively.

I'm not quite sure some fans know what the term "hot seat" suggests. If Kelly were to lose to South Carolina the fans would not be happy. Many will have lost complete trust in him that he can win at a championship level. But he is in year 3 of a 10 year, $100M contract should they fire him before the end of the contract. One that generally stipulates LSU would owe him 90% of the remaining money owed on his contract. Quick math means that LSU would owe him over $60M if they fired him after this season. That is a MASSIVE number neither the donors, nor the school will be willing to pay to make a coaching change right now. Win or lose vs. South Carolina BK is not going anywhere after this season unless it is on his own accord (and I doubt he walks away from $70M)

Disfavored in the eyes of the fans? Sure.

"Hot seat"? Not at all

& KENTUCKY is a 10pt favorite against them this weekend. I’d say it’s similar matchup to Mississippi State last year, which had some negatigers concerned, until Jayden went off & easily won 41-14. No LSU fans should be concerned about that game

They looked really bad in week 1 vs Old Dominion. South Carolina trailed in the fourth quarter.

Carolina has a highly touted RS freshman QB. Sellers. 6’3 245. dual threat.

Lucky for LSU it’s an early kickoff but we’re still a ranked big brand SEC opponent coming to town. Anytime someone gets a shot at LSU they get up for it. I wouldn’t count on that same Carolina team we saw vs ODU.

Regardless I still like what LSU has and we should runaway with it. “SHOULD”

They were outgained by Old Dominion and only beat them because ODU could not hold onto the football. They'll get the crap beaten out of them by Kentucky this week, and we should do the same next week.

could be

24-22 going into the 4th

Score a TD to go up 31-22 half way through the qtr then a very late TD to ice it 38-22

I would call that ugly against this Carolina team

Without a doubt in my mind if Kelly loses this game especially in embarrassing fashion he’s in deep shite.

Losing games is gonna happen. Not games like South Carolina.
