I feel great about Saturday and how we match up
We definitely have the edge on defense and the intangibles with it being a home game.
At the beginning of the year id give them an advantage on offense but now I think we have the better offense and QB.Daniels is playing at a Heisman level right now and we are peaking.
We comin baws. Im seeing a 42-31 type win

You kind of had me until you said better QB. Now I realized your whole post is based off cognitive bias. Bryce Young is hands down the best QB in the nation.

LSU certainly has a chance to win this game and I can't believe I'm even able to say that after the Florida state, auburn and Tennessee games.
That said, this team did get annihilated by Tennessee and we're facing a similar team here. I believe we have grown since then, but bama still probably has at least an 80% chance to win this game. I am very worried about special teams.

We cannot go down a couple scores like the OM and Tenn. We won’t recover from that.

Better qb ? Slow you’re roll

You need to review the stats comparison on DandyDon this morning.

As Scott states the demise of Alabama football is greatly exaggerated. I still think we have an opportunity to beat them but Bama is going to have to help us with mistakes like they did against Texas, A&M, and Tennessee.

Your optimism is nice, but I dont know about that.

Come on now, this is a bit of a reach.

Bama has not done well with mobile QBs and JD is the most mobile they've seen
Posted on 10/31/22 at 7:40 am to dallastiger55
Bama has been real susceptible to the deep ball.
They also struggle somewhat with mobile qb’s.
The combination of the 2 appears to be pretty bad for them.
Offensively, they can give us trouble if we do not tackle well. Our linebackers are going to be tested bigtime with a mobile qb who can throw and a strong stable of running backs and a tight end.

I would argue hooker or stroud are better than young actually

After watching Florida and Ole Miss' defenses get shredded this weekend I would temper my expectations. Daniels may light it up vs Bama, but this team is still a work in progress. I also would give a big advantage to Bama as far as Young vs our secondary. Our DBs are going to have to play their best game or it could get ugly.
I do think LSU can win, but it's going to require a pretty mistake free game to achieve. The good news is I have a lot of confidence in Kelly's ability to get this team ready to play over the bye.

Dandy Don likes our chances to win and he never picks LSU to lose

Hands down? No. Hooker outplayed him at Tennessee
Posted on 10/31/22 at 8:48 am to dallastiger55
They almost scored 50 on Tennessee who held us to 13. Young will be able to abuse our secondary at will so we will have to put up 35+ if we want a chance to win this game.

Famous last words.
This team is getting better and better, but Bama is flat out better, similar to Tennessee vs LSU.
Bama should win by a fair margin, and no one should feel bad about it. LSU is at least a year or two away.

Im thinking 28-7 or 35-7 Bama.
Not as bad as the Tennessee beatdown, but in the neighborhood.
