I'd personally take the help, but do you really want that with this offense possibly matching up with Bama in the first CFP game, again? LSU would likely be in the 4th spot if that even happened.
I also don't think Ensminger can call a better game against them with a second attempt in the same season or a different season. I really believe that is due to a limitation in his personal make-up to fully adapt to the times (but I hope I'm wrong). Consider, he had a full offseason to develop his own playbook and it does not compete any better against Alabama's defense as the Miles' playbook did. It's like they forgot Alabama was on the schedule as well. This should have been where building a new offense started.

It is possible. People are forgetting how much help we had in 2007-08.
We had to have like 3-4 teams lose, including a seemingly unbeatable WV team that year. it happened. While it’s not happening this year, technically the OP is right.

We may want to focus on Arkansas on the road. It would be a shite sandwich of a loss, but I'm not overly confident now.

Stop blaming ensminger. You can pick a coach from any era and place them in before the two week off started and the talent difference was huge. Have to start out recruiting them to beat them. Especially top Louisiana talent that goes to Alabama every time we get a top player. Please someone fix that situation the barber guy damn pay him already get those kids to stay at LSU. Kids have to want to build the program to be the best

honestly I don't want this team to go to the playoffs after that embarrassment of a game. Why go, so we can just get our arse handed to us again?
