I've got no problem showing them. This ball has to be caught. Slightly behind Dupre but no excuse as it has to be hauled in:

1000% should have had that.

Harris? No! Etling however SHOULD have been 7/8 and COULD have easily been 8/8. 1 hit Chi right in the hands as he's falling backwards and the other hit Jeter in the hands, but it was well defended as you pointed out.

6 of 8 in the first half is what got me excited.

Did you really just say a ball thrown to a point 2 yards from the sideline was behind him? Lmao it was a spot throw have you ever played football?

Etling has me excited and gives me optimism. I'm bashing the coache's QB development and state of the QB position in this program.

You pussy.

You watched the guy play, and 6-14 is what you take from it? frick our fan base sucks.

The 7 out of 9 3rd down conversion with Etling at QB was nice.

Also liked seeing a QB hit receivers in stride, been a long while since we saw that.

Yea. 6-8 so we only threw 6 times in the 2nd half. How many drops did he have? Dupree and Guise had catchable balls.

Anyone with eyes could tell he's not the answer based on second half. The more film teams get on him the worse he's going to look. His offensive line is also atrocious. Don't forget Harris looked amazing coming in for a bad Jennings and was lightning the world on fire...then looked horrible when he played against Auburn.

Welcome to the Les Miles and rant cycle. Rant always wants next QB off the bench. They see potential in an extremely mediocre stat line for the QB. Few weeks later they want the next QB off the bench. Cycle continues.

Etling is not the answer and it will never improve until Les is gone. It's the entire philosophy and system LSU runs under him. His QBs are not put in a position to succeed.

Those stats were essentially for one quarter, before the passing offense went to shite again in the 2nd half. The 2nd half had Miles fingerprints all over it again.

Imagine how bad it would have been if Harris stayed in. He couldn't hit the side of a barn.

I said it was a blatant drop and absolute has to be caught. If you don't think the pass was slightly behind Dupre you're not being objective. Perfectly acceptable and I don't have some expectation that it needs to be pinpoint every time. Etling isn't at fault for anything.

I don't see anything wrong with the throw. It was just excellent defense.
