Why do always have to make an enemy of everyone in this board, Beefense? I haven't seen one person indicate that they're MAD we won. We're still frustrated that even after making a change--and I give him credit for that--the offense in the second half looked like more of what we're used to. Stop making everyone out to be the bad guy.

Should have been caught.

I bet the only thing you ever caught is a cold.

You are an idiot a spot throw 2 yards from the sideline cannot possibility be thrown in any fricking way behind the WR.

In fact that would be the perfect spot for that route. It literally could not have been placed in a better spot. Another yard outside and Dupree struggles to get a foot down. Another yard behind him and it can be picked off. Dupree dropped a perfect pass for that route. Plain and simple.

If miles stays out we see what Cameron can do. Still loved what I saw. He would've had approx 200 yards possibly without drops. But it's about poise and command. He has it so far. He hadn't played live in a while and should improve week to week

ETA: Based on the responses, apparently people don't realize this is Colin Jeter. It was a nice pass and it was defended even better. No big deal, but a drop it is not.

Dupre had a bad drop on a similar pass. The play to jeter could have drawn a pass interference call but it didn't.

Your Qb doesn't have to throw the ball much when your RB's are shredding the defense........... How many rushing yards in the game?

It's not his numbers that excite me. It's the game management and a control of the offense that hasn't been seen in years.

6-8 should have been 7-8 for 130 in only the 2nd qtr, 3 straight TD, and scaring the defense shitless to finally leave the fricking BOX!!!!!

The 5-6 passes in the second half were a product of typical Les Miles/CC shitty play calling

And was defended even better. I'm not knocking Etling for the pass, I'm just showing that calling it a drop is asinine.
That wasn't a drop. Good throw, great defense. The other incompletion was a drop. That happens too.

However there wasn't a single drop against Wisconsin. Just bad throws.

A passing TD
A rushing TD
Several first downs
3 straight TD drives after two straight 3 and outs
A qb that actually looks competent under center

Pretty sure that's where the optimism comes from

People see what they want to see based on which qb they prefer.
Same exact scenario with Lee and JJ.

Just a matter of time before somebody turns this into a race thing. Wait and see

He was 6-8 for 100 yds in the 2nd qtr. Yes I think we have the right to be excited about that. Probably should have finished up 10-14 with about 180 yds but there were some terrible drops. #15 needs to be benched, along with #6, until he gets his head out of his arse and starts catching the ball. IMO he really only made two bad throws. The overthrow to JD and int in end zone.

Booger said last night that next week "Etling has got to start." Maybe Booger is a racist.
