That’s just it, a large segment of the fan base is pissed off even when LSU wins. Look at the last two years. SECCG in year one of BK, Heisman winner in year two. Check this board at practically any time, and you’ll see incessant bitching and moaning.

The only way to have a spoiled fan base is to first have a successful program
Once you get there, there is only one thing can kill it, complacency, that’s how you get the final orgeron years
Celebrate the wins, complain about the losses, big and small, be a fan in your own way, and expect stupid shite to be posted a message board as it has been since the first message board ever created.
There isn’t an opinion on here worth getting in a tizzy over. Have some perspective and Have fun with it

While I remember vividly being happy to go to the independence bowl, we have a football department set up to compete for championships on a yearly bases. Doesn’t mean we will play or win it every year but no one is getting excited going 8-4 9-3.

This fan base is largely why winning is EXPECTED at LSU.
Look at Iowa. They are content with making a bowl game. The state of Louisiana would be bedlam.
