Seen on Twitter that he got in a bad wreck in East Texas. In most cars he wouldn’t have survived but he was in a Tesla. All the airbags deployed and nothing was breached. He was traveling down the road and the car pulled into him.

All airbags deployed. There was 0 intrusion into the cabin. We are sore and bruised but we walked away and waited for the authorities. They already had a helicopter on standby because of our remote location, high speeds, and wrecks are often a mangled mess out here in East TX.

We took the entire front end off the other car and its motor was on the side of the road. Truly amazing how the structure of the Tesla held up.

It would appear that the TESLA was definitely “SAFER” than whatever type of vehicle the assorted pieces of leftover twisted metal & debris is/was; NO?

well it might be. You tend to look for safety when you’re transporting a family

It looks more like how the impact occurred. He basically rammed head-first into the side of the engine compartment of that car, breaking it off. That is actually a safety design built into vehicles. They’re designed to compress a bit when hit from the front or back, to absorb impact. But, they can also break away on side impact, depending on how severe and location of impact, to also absorb those sideways G forces.

Do you have a job? If so, go in tomorrow and tell your boss "I'm finna to goto lunch". If you wouldn't do that crap at your job, don't do it here. You can't pull it off.

You want to know a secret? Most people do stuff on here that they don’t do at their jobs, and that’s perfectly ok.

I was thinking about Eddy and Cresse and the 1998 team yesterday when I hadn’t thought about them in years.

Crazy.

ETA: I’d be remiss if I didn’t include Eddy’s numbers from that 1998 season:

.403, 28HR, 76 RBI

And no, High C, this accident was not my fault just because I randomly thought of him.

If it was, then I need to send Gary Hymel an email.

Technically, that makes the accident your fault.
