The stat lines are crazy. 1 or 2 players dominate the points.

look, I think Mulkey is bad-arse and I'm glad we're doing great, but women's basketball is unwatchable.

Sorry, but it just is.

that day is coming, but at least Mulkey is a strong, no-nonsense lady. I suspect she'll stand up to that garbage.

Well no shite. There is a massive talent and athleticism gap.

message board, man. I'm just giving my opinion. I never said everyone would agree with me.

But I'd bet my opinion is shared by the large majority of sports fans in America.

And again, I hope the women's BB team keeps kicking butt. I truly hope they do.

I just can't watch.

I enjoy watching WBB more than MBB. I watched several LSU WBB games but only one MBB.

A thousand years ago when I was attending LSU, Joyce Walker played in several pickup games with us. Based on that, I promise you, anyone in the current WBB starting lineup would embarrass you in a game of one on one.

it's very interesting you say that.

I'm not the poster you were responding to, but I also played pickup ball in the Field House back in the 80s and played once against Joyce Walker. In fact, I'm a guard so I guarded her.

Now, I'll admit she was better than I expected, but she was an All-American and I was just a high school player, but she didn't get the better of me.

So your assertion that a current WBB player would embarrass someone in one-on-one, well, I guess that depends on the guy. If the guy was even a decent high school player, well, I'd put my money on the guy.

And by the way, that's not a shot at the women. It's just different - much like the boys high school team dominating the US Women's Soccer team.

Men are bigger, stronger, faster, and can jump much higher. Those are just facts.

Easy solution: Don't click on a thread about it. Those of us that enjoy WBB wont mind not hearing your thoughts on how much of a sport it is, and you can focus on the sports you do enjoy.

Our women can actually shoot. Our men on the other hand...

If you had to choose between watching 2 random women’s and 2 random men’s college teams play, would you pick WBB?

I think we probably agree that WBB (at least the LSU WBB team) is a fun to watch.

HOWEVER, your assertion that any starter on the WBB team would embarrass 'you' is silly (assuming the 'you' being referenced is a male). If a guy played in high school he would not get embarrassed and if he was a good high school player he would probably not get beat. As an example, the Australian Women's soccer team played a boys 15u team....and lost.
