You are incorrect. A great college women’s team would lose to an average high school boys team.

That’s what I said dude. Lol go back and re-read my post.

I’m not sure about a random player but the top boys high school basketball team in the country would absolutely crush LSU women’s team. Just due to sheer size and athleticism.

I played a couple of times with Walker too. Maybe we played in some of the same pick up games.

I enjoy watching the team play. If you go with the understanding that the sport is different than MBB then you can get some enjoyment out of watching different styles and our team is really friggin good this year.

Men? You must mean gender misassigned humans!

I remember playing pickup in the Field House back then too .. not against Joyce but with Prop 48 Stanley Roberts. He was OK. I dunked on him (in my dreams). :)
My buddy played in a pickup game with Rudy Macklin in early 80s. Rudy came down on my buddy's foot and twisted his ankle. My buddy thought he ruined Rudy's pro career.

message board, man. I'm just giving my opinion. I never said everyone would agree with me.

Look you are probably right, but I just wonder why you chose to voice it.

Seems unnecessary.

Soccer is more of a speed game than basketball. Women do better versus men in games that are more skill related.

This is just flat out wrong. Soccer is much more of a skill game than basketball.

I actually think the differences in men and women in both basketball and soccer are pretty comparable. The women playing at the highest level will be more skilled than younger men, but the speed, strength, agility, and size. (In basketball) would be too much to overcome. I’m not sure why that’s controversial, it’s an objective truth. I’d walk right into LSU women’s soccer team right now just due to sheer speed and size.

Stand up to it? Sure. But she better be like Saban and take advantage of it while she’s standing up to it.

If dudes start playing WBB, we better have some 6’8 dude on the block.

I agree. It is pushed by the ptb. That is the only reason it exists. It is a shame really. Women are not the same as men. Who disagrees?

Why do we need to compare women to men. If you don’t like it don’t watch. I enjoy both. If LSU is winning and you have a true coaching legend it enhances the experience. Is the play always elite no but watching LSU men is like watching paint dry right now.

Went to the womens game Sunday.
I enjoyed it. The announced crowd was close to 12,000.
I have a feeling the crowds are going to continue to grow as the season progresses.

They are very similar but how many outfield players started playing soccer after they were 15 and became professional? There are some examples of super tall basketball players starting to play in high school and able to play professionally. Obviously this is rare and only due to being 7ft tall.
