I agree. Logical opinions are discouraged on the rant. Thanks for the reminder.

You're right though, Joe Burrow should purposely underthrow passes instead of purposely hitting the WR in stride....

FWIW I would never throw one
Of these against Stingley. He’s absolutely the best at defending these passes.

Devonta Smith caught an easy bomb on a back shoulder throw against Stingley. And he intercepted one against Georgia when a decent receiver would have made the reception. The WR was supposed to hit the brakes and high point the ball. He did nothing, and it dropped into Stingley’s lap.

What is on the money at 40 yards? (in your opinion)

Don’t be an idiot. “On the money is what Tua did with 1:20 left against LSU when he hit Smith on his fingertips. It’s also what Burrow did on 3rd and 17.

You clearly can’t think logically because you can’t even comprehend my response to the OP’s original point. Therefore you should quit posting. But go ahead, keep defending your buddy (the OP) and embarrassing yourself.

So you pick 2 passes out of hundreds?

Here are the season stats on passes longer than 20 yards...
Burrow - 56.9%
Tua - 48.57%

No one is buying your ridiculous attempt to discredit Burrow's league leading long throw accuracy.

Receivers look like they bailed him out on several underthrown balls. Gotta give a lot of credit to that WR group..

I give the WR'S A ton of credit for the whole year.... Joe is fantastic but the wr's did their job in helping make the QB better...

Nobody said he was perfect on every throw. We are just scratching our fricking heads wondering why a thread exists bitching about the accuracy of the most accurate passer in NCAA history. That's all.

Every QB has some underthrows. But most of these comments that keep popping up about supposed underthrows are actually just back shoulder throws.

I don't know how so many people are missing that. It's part of what makes him so good, is his ball placement and throwing guys open. Only the best can do that, even in the pros.

Did you actually watch the Heisman speech? he thanks all his receivers. Ffs what some of you determine to be post worthy is absurd.

He underthrows some but also never overthrows which is a guaranteed incompletion. Gotta give your guy a chance to make to play

this is some bullshite stance that you cooked up in one of your drunken stupors.

I said prior to O being hired as the full time coach....

I've run as many successful programs as O.

at no point did I claim I couldve done what O has.

But you are nitpicking the accuracy of the most accurate quarterback in NCAA history

except no im not. I just said Burrow doesnt have a problem with deep ball accuracy or arm strength. I'm merely stating that he has underthrown some deep balls and contrary to what Buckeye thinks, they werent all on purpose.

quote:

Also, under throwing on purpose is an actual thing:

not when the wr has a step on the db.
