I was at the game and it was by far the most visiting fans I have ever seen, without even comparison. Season tickets since ‘76 and my father agreed

Tennessee in 2000 brought way more people than UGA did yesterday.

What they showed on TV was a little misleading. I re-wound and watched twice and then realized they were showing the stands from the UGA vs Notre Dame game and not the LSU game.

you clown.

Without a doubt. I’ve been going for 35 years. Never have I seen that many n the East sidelines between the goal lines . They completely bought out everything offered in the uppers . Great effort b them we entertained many including Vince Dooley he was very gracious and had issues as well with the schedule not allowing this to take place more regularly.

Upper east side was about 80-85% Georgia. Upper west side was about 50/50, as you said. The top of the south expansion was 70-80% Georgia fans, too.

This ain't even remotely close......east upper had the most and they cooked in the sun for 3 hours. But the rest was 80-85% LSU

They don’t play here again for another 13 years so it’s understandable. Bama is here every other year so no they don’t come close

How’d they get tickets? What unloyal LSU fans are selling out their tickets to the dark side?

I bought mine from LSU athletic dept. A lot of UGA fans bought them from there. By the way, i now have LSU - MSU fix if you know anybody that needs them.

When LSU relocated the majority of visitor seats out of the lower bowl, they were moved to the east upper and new south end zone uppers. That’s one reason why there were so many UGA fans up there.

No need. They said close to the same you quoted, iirc, during the game on TV yesterday. I believe that was based on what LSU allotted for visitors and what sales looked like on various 3rd party websites.

1991 Bama. We were in the 20s. Not sure how that compared to UGA.

LSU has a very low season ticket renewal. So low they offered single game tickets for the UGA AND Bama games to season ticket holders / TAF donors.

I know quite a few UGA fans who got their tickets that way.

As a percent of the stadium, Alabama had more fans at least twice in the 1990s.

I estimate there were about 16K UGA fans in the stadium. That's 10K more than their allotment. And they were NOT loud. I heard them chant UGA once in 1stQ and they were immediately drowned out with boos. 7K bama fans make waaaay more noise in TS than however many UGA fans were there yesterday.
