Yup, we out-talented Kentucky and Tennessee this year.

Your friend doesn't understand basketball very well.

Even just watching this team now compared to at the start of the season, it's evident that they're well coached.

It would certainly explain why he was successful at Chattanooga and VCU.

We'd have to be some damn fine street ballers to go 9-0 on the road in the SEC and 16-2 overall with this young of a team. One thing I have seen with Wade is player development. Basically all the players have gotten better as the season has gone on. Mays made a huge jump from last year to this year. He kept Waters out of the starting lineup for a minute and he started playing better too.

He's young and there are better in-game coaches, but he prepares his teams extremely well and they have a great ability to focus and just play possession-by-possession no matter what the score is.

You and your friend are morons.

Anyone who has watched this team all year has seen them grow by leaps and bounds.

Look at the improvement of Mays from last year to this year. Look at Naz and Smart’s development. Players don’t develop under bad coaches.

Your "friend" is an idiot. Generally when people say street ball, they are implying an undisciplined brand of basketball. Do undisciplined teams dominate the offensive glass like LSU. How about shooting 78% from the FT line? How about scoring the vast majority of its points in the paint? These are not signs of a street ball team. This is what good coaching looks like.

Also, look at where this team was over thanksgiving and then look where they are now. Huge improvement.

Ive wondered the same.

But seriously, thats small potatoes to be cutting fries with if you ask me.

Food for thought: If the issue becomes bigger, push the issue... dont retract like some people we know,
You will find urself injured, and the issue is still there.

Granted Vandy might be the worst team I've seen LSU play all year, LSU played much better than I thought they would.

Wade knows how to hire a staff and you definitely have coaches and support staff that know what they are doing.

Unlike Jones who replaced Musselman with that NBA retread or Trent Johnson who had staff members that were just awful - most of which are not even in the coaching profession anymore.

Say what you will, but it isn't like LSU is an uber talented team. They have some really good players who excel at certain thing. There isn't anyone on that team who is a sure fire NBA prospect. He did a great job of recruiting to fit a unit and coaching to their strengths.

What did your astute friend say about the Ben Simmons squad?
