Say what you will, but it isn't like LSU is an uber talented team.
Im at a loss for words.

Sure, no one is a lottery pick at the moment, but if LSU doesnt have talent because of where they are projected to go in NBA draft, then Duke is the only team with “talent” this year.

Tremont is one of the most talented players in the country. But he is 5’9” 170lbs. Just because he isnt going to be a lotttery pick doesnt mean he lacks talent. Talent and physical ability are seperate things.

I don't care what anyone says, but you have to have talent to win, especially in D1 basketball. Let the Duke HC have a roster full of walk-ons and 2-star players and see how many games they win! I know a lot of coaches in a variety of sports and most will tell you that some of the most difficult teams to coach are the ones that have the most talent because they all want the ball! Good coaches get their teams to understand their role and how to play as one. That's a lot easier said than done! I think WW has shown the ability to bring this team together and each understands their role!

If he's cheating, does it matter if he's also a good coach?

Friend of mine pointed it out to me. That he doesn’t really coach them up. LSU just plays a lot of street ball.
Oh sure, no coaching or scheme whatsoever.

We start Kavell Bigby-Williams. If you want to go traditional offense, and feed him in the post and expect him to lead you, we're not going .500 in the league. He has no post game.
Naz Reid has minimal post game at this point in his career.
Emmitt Williams has no post game.
Marlon Taylor has no post game, and not much of an outside shot.

But they can crash the boards; and we have 3 guards that can drive on almost anyone. They drive well enough that you have to contest them, and when you do the rebounds open up. And Bigby Williams gets a double double just on garbage time.

That's a coach knowing what to do with the guys he has.

Good Lord, ANYONE who has ever coached acknowledges that better talent wins more games.

Sure! But coaching wins championships. Phi Slamma Jamma!
How many championships did Shaq and Chris win.
