Sadly I’m afraid your right unless they clear everyone trying to handcuff him. How do work for anyone in the athletic dept or bos after this?

So almost everything catepillars source said the other day is true. The administration tried to ambush wade with the ncaa before talking to him internally. How stupid can they be?

My question is: if Smart gets cleared, then why the frick do the admins think it's necessary to go on this crusade?!
Good question. Perhaps the answer is that Smart got no benefits or there’s no trace of his receipt of benefits. Offering benefits though, regardless if received, is an NCAA violation.

FBI most likely told him to not talk to anyone about his testimony with anyone not a party to the trial. It's a very common practice to tell a witness that.
Judge can do that, FBI can’t.

I am not believing any media report in BR these days. Nor am I believing anything LSU admins say. None of them are telling the whole story and we'll never know the entire story, IMO.

There’s a whole gaggle of people who think that fans not wanting the basketball program ushering in the NCAA has something to do with Orgeron.
You should be angry at the BOS throwing gasoline on the entire thing then.

Did the NCAA reduce sanctions on Mississippi when Freeze was fired?
Ole Miss was uncooperative, they stonewalled and stonewalled and denied and denied and lied and lied and got hammered.

NCAA is coming regardless of any suspension.

Exactly. So suspending Wade is pointless. Glad we're on the same page.

Perhaps LSU admins have insight or were tipped off that theres going to be more incriminating evidence released against Wade. Maybe someone inside the NCAA told them by suspending Wade they can cover their arse on allegations to come
Maybe
Maybe

Right. Either fire him or let him coach.
If the NCAA is coming regardless what purpose does a suspension serve?

DIdn't read every post but 104.5 "noonish" said that the investigation by LSU was being sped up and that two additional people were going to be questioned but they didn't say who.
???
???

I think by interviewing the 2 unnamed people, LSU can get the information they’re looking for without having to interview Coach Wade.
This should be a positive move, unless they find a way to screw it up.

For some reason I got the impression that it was interviews to help Smart (they didn't say that -- I inferred that). I'm so curious -- is it other players? Were the two names given to him by Smart? Wade (doubtful)?

I don’t have his contract, but according to LSU he’s in breach of contract. If that’s true, then he has no legal leg to stand on.
The bigger question is why was he advised to not meet with his bosses?
Being in breach of his contract would require him to do something that is specifically stated in his contract. I am pretty sure his contract doesn't state he has to meet with the AD, President, BOS, LSU Lawyers and the NCAA without legal representation there on his side. If LSU wants to play this game, he more likely than them has grounds for a lawsuit.
Jut admit your precious AD, President, and BOS morons screwed this up. I am not defending Wade's actions or words on the tape, but he is absolutely well within his rights to refuse to be forced into a ridiculous situation like that without legal representation.
LSU's admin is literally shitting on any chance they have of making a legitimate hire any time soon if they have to replace Wade.
