Wade’s in breach of contract, according to the piece. What would he sue for?

Perhaps PROOF that he’s in breach of contract?

Did the NCAA reduce sanctions on Mississippi when Freeze was fired?
Freeze was gored for fricking hookers, not because of the NCAA stuff

He didn’t show up for a meeting requested by his bosses

Did not attend meeting - that’s the proof. That’s the breach.

With the way this is all playing out, would anyone be surprised if WW never coaches another game for LSU?

I'm not even saying it's guaranteed that he will be found of committing major violations, just from way everything has been handled. I think they've already made up their mind that he's gone.

Depends on what they say. If they deny anything improper took place it’s great, because barring further leaks that stops the trail cold.

If they say they did take money that pretty much sinks Wade, and if they say they gave some to smarts family and him then it probably sinks Smart and the season. Although smart and family could still say they’re lying

Not likely Wade will testify at trial because his testimony is irrelevant to the issues before the court - namely: did the defendants break the law.

Ask yourself how Wade's testimony about whether he broke NCAA rules is relevant to determining whether someone else broke federal statutes?

The evidence offered at trial must be relevant to the issues being tried. It is not relevant when evidence does not help the trier of fact determine the law.

Hopefully, the Smart family, the middle men, and Wade all have their stories correct.

This is the first article that officially confirms the ambush.

The official statement on Friday was that Wade refused to meet with F King and Alleva.

Now its Alleva F king the BOS, LSU attorneys AND the NCAA

quote:

But Wade’s attorney later cancelled the Friday meeting with Alleva, LSU President F. King Alexander, other top university brass and NCAA investigators

What’s funny is after all this, if wade does return he will be labeled by the media, he was suspended. Not if he’s guilty enough to be fired. Same as smart. The narrative will be they must be dirty or the LSU admins wouldn’t have suspended either of them. ??
Lsu has already lost the PR battle with the national talking heads. They should worry about the fan base!

You still have a ton of idiots that wanted to keep Jones as head coach and called his firing a blasphemy and racially charged matter.

Forget for a moment that Alleva and the board hired a guy that was directly connected (whether really or not) to the sanctioning of our basketball program as head coach of that team. Think about that for a minute, and then those same people upset that a crappy coach that should never have been hired in the first place is fired for utterly sucking and running the program into the ground, and God forbid is replaced by a white guy.

That is the sad state of affairs at LSU. Convicted Felons like Ponamsky are allowed to be in power positions in our AD, which shows you the joke that LSU is becoming under this BOS, Alleva, and F King.

What would happen to you if in your official work duty you allegedly did something that could get the organization in legal or ethical hot water and your boss called you in for a meeting, for whitch you declined to attend? Would you be suspended with pay?

Just fire him already. The entire way this has been handled by LSU is an embarrassment, per usual.

I don't think so at all. The university sees smoke, so while they investigate further, they suspend the coach in question.

How can anyone without purple and gold blinders on say this isn't a prudent decision?

If they are actually bag men and LSU can't find proof then it would be difficult for the NCAA to do so.

The problem isn't the existence or identification of the bagmen or the benefit itself, the problem is the proof.

Totally shameful and embarrassing way to handle this by LSU. No one should be surprised. Fire Everyone.
