And certainly injuries hurt, but that’s part of it,
And no doubt anyone would love 9-9 right now.
But we all know there were no guarantees Wade would have finished 9-9. We lost Eason and Days but we had some good players committed. It could have gone either way.

LSU was 9-9 in SEC play in Wade’s final season. That is mediocre. Especially since that came after back to back top 10 recruiting classes.
The revisionist history of Will Wade is ridiculous. Yes he was a good coach for us, but this board keeps making him out to be much more than he was. At no point were we close to what Alabama has going right now.
Just because McMahon did a terrible job this year doesn’t mean that Wade was John Wooden.
