As crazy as some of those games were the Tennessee game was the craziest. How many people turned that off to find out later LSU won.

LSU vs. AUB ... pick any game
1988 - I was sitting in the student section when the crowd erupted
1:47 remaining, 4th and 10 from the AUB 11, the rest is history

Hahah about that Troy game though. I remember driving home pissed off and reluctantly tuning in to 98.1. I was definitely in for a shock lol

1972 Ole Miss game in Tiger Stadium. LSU down 16-10 late in the 4th quarter, Ole Miss shanked a field goal attempt that would have put the game out of reach. Instead, Bert Jones leads LSU on a long drive with less than 4 minutes left. With 1 second on the game clock after an incomplete pass, Jones hits Brad Davis in the endzone for the tying TD, 16-16. Rusty Jackson kicked the extra point with no time left for the victory, 17-16.

Ole Miss erected a sign on Westbound I-10 stating you were now leaving Mississippi and entering Louisiana. Set your clocks back one second.

There shouldn’t be any speculation. There was 4 seconds on the clock when Byrd caught the touchdown.

I was in U-22 with my dad - sophomore year.

That was one of the most boring games for the first three quarters and twelve minutes.

1999 at Georgia - 4th and 10 at the UGA 39 w/ :20 sec left, Booty finds Reggie Robinson around a few defenders for the score. DiNardo goes for 2 and the W. Booty rolls right and is forced to throw it back to the other side of the field and is swatted away. UGA 23-22.

I domt remember a lot about it but the 2000 Alabama game had a moment late in the 2nd half where the refs had to reverse a call against LSU. I remember the players grabbing the ref and pointing him towards the replay screen so he could see the play.

LSU ending up winning and breaking a very long home losing streak to the Tide.

I feel like people are just listing the most memorable games vs. "wackiest" games. That '88 game wasn't particularly "wacky". In fact, it was a terribly boring game until the very end. Through 3 quarters the score was 3-0 Auburn. The two teams combined for 18 punts (LSU had 11)

The ending may be the most memorable (or at least the most discussed) ending to a game in LSU history. But the game itself was by no means "wacky"

Was it really cold for the '08 Troy game? I think it was maybe rainy but I don't remember it being cold.

I sat in the south endzone with my gf (now wife). her first tiger stadium game, and I still owe her for putting her through that misery. it was the coldest I have ever been- that north wind was ridiculous

Where to start...Wins or losses matter...I’ll give most 3 recent I was present in person for me is...loss to ole miss/clock it game. Stayed whole game for Troy 2008 freezing and we won. 2011 national champ loss to bama.. I could go on and on, most deal with miles... but stayed whole game and froze as
Student during Norte dame game circa 98. Wacky can mean anything though almost all Less games were wacky

Agree. I never understood why Tuberville and Auburn didn't ask for a clock review. As crazy as that series is if they had put up :04 and they fair caught the on-side kick on downed it immediately those jokers might have thrown a 75 yd Hail Mary in the last play.
