When Vitale and the hypocrite media are hyping up the angel Tom Izzo against evil LSU angle, these two stories from last year shouldn't be ignored. All of this happened under Izzo's watch.

Michigan State: Breaking down 3 multi-player rape allegations since 2010?
quote:

On Monday, a lawsuit filed in federal court alleged three Michigan State basketball players of raping a student in 2015, a week after the Final Four loss to Duke, and accused the university of coercing the woman not to report it to authorities.

The suit is the latest black eye for a university and a basketball program under fire for its handling of allegations of sexual assault and violent acts against women. It's also the third allegation of rape by multiple MSU basketball players since 2010. Only one of those incidents were reported to police.

Michigan State basketball star Miles Bridges' mom linked to FBI probe
quote:

The connection to Bridges' mom, which doesn't seem as egregious as the FBI's other findings, was revealed in Dawkins' ASM expense report documents from May 3, 2016. The documents were seized by the FBI and obtained by Yahoo, and they included two items involving Cynthia Bridges. Those were
* “Redwood Lodge. Lunch w/Miles Bridges Parents. $70.05.”
* “ATM Withdrawl: Miles Bridges mom advance. $400”

Also listed on Dawkins’ spreadsheets, according to Yahoo, were paid dinners with MSU basketball coach Tom Izzo.

Or just not keep harping on this and just focus on the team. Nobody is “right”. Root for the men on the sideline in purple and gold. That’s it.

Why not both?

Yes. Exactly the point.

Always do.

Nobody is "right"??? Are you implying that Dick Vitale's treatment of LSU is warranted? LSU fans are right for calling him out on his BS. And he's wrong for being a hypocrite.

I am rooting for the team. I'd just like to see a level playing with no double standards.

Again, Izzo is a paisano. He’s not speaking ill of Pitino, Izzo, Calipari or any of the heads of the five families.

He’s also not going to speak ill of Williams, Self etc because he loves to sniff their jocks and curry favor.

He is a hyperbolic windbag and nothing more.

The problem with Dickie is that even in his announcing job he goes waaaay over the top with almost everything. He can take a routine dunk and make it sound like no one has ever seen anything like it before. It’s the same with this situation, leaving no room to be able to act more outraged if it was something really egregious like sexual assault or child porn or whatever. He has already acted as outraged and horrified as a human could possibly act...other than calling for jail time.

So root for the players that cheated to get here? Sound logic. Y'all like to shite on the coach, but not the players that were paid to be here.

Exactly

Why should CWW/LSU fall on the sword for all the crimes they’ve committed and Vitale has covered for/covered up.

Vitale is a criminal for what he has done over the years.

What he’s doing to LSU makes him a known a-hole.

Jordy needs to ask Vitale why he likes players who rape women and coaches who cover it up better than players who get paid.

I think the overwhelming majority of the fanbase doesn't give a shite about paying the players. No one has seemed to care about it when the football team is successful. Why would we care about it in basketball?

He just tweeted about a "super conversation" he had with Coach Cal. The same Coach Cal that left two programs on probation for the same stuff he's lampooning WW for. He's a clown and hypocrite.

I for one do not. In fact, I would have issue with the hiring of any coach who wasn't willing to do what is necessary to win.

The same goes for Joe Alleva. Difference is, that scumbag hypocrite is playing naive and pretending he had no idea that this goes on in college basketball.

He (Alleva) is scum.

There may be a lot of bullshite on this board, but I'll hand it to our fans- we're on top of things when it comes to news.. especially when we're waiting for news. Stay on the lookout on other boards and media publications/broadcasts concerning LSU. Can and WILL find the dirt on the "other" school when said school is getting hypocritical praise in spite of the lingering dirt. LOL And good for the occasional recruiting nugget, as well.

what Nassau did was horrific, but how does that relate, at all, to what Wade did? I’m just not getting the connection.

Well good thing we’re just spectators and don’t have to focus on anything to win a game.
