Tyran Matheiu certainly does not belong on any all time list. Good player, but had nothing to do with any championship

It's silly but it's true. The numbers to these recruits and transfers are bigger than ever now and deal breakers. We are in an arms race against the changing face of cfb alone and we need every advantage we can get. Honor players with statues or another way.

If the Burrow statue isn’t him sitting down with a cigar after the NC game, I’m getting Gordon.

Faulk should get in at least a year ahead of Faneca because he stayed

Jerry Stovall and Tommy Casanova
Chris Jackson, Shaq, Pete

do those names all come down since they didn’t win titles?

They should put up a Statue of each coach that won a National Title. That would be 4, plus do one for Charlie McClendon who is the all time winningest coach. I seriously would doubt they put up one for Les Miles with all those optics and same could potentially be said for Ed O but the other 2 plus one for Charley Mac could be nice additions. Alabama did a great job outside of their stadium with statues of the coaches.

Burrow & Daniels need statues to go along with Cannon for the Heismans. Should be the only reason for a statue.

Name up in TS as well along with Dorsey (2 time unanimous All American)

If this doesn’t include Faulk it’s bullshite. We all know Burrow and JD are locks. But Faulk should get his jersey retired at minimum.
Agreed, but we’d be losing #9, #5 and #3. Just build them statues. Use the numbers.

How many jerseys are we going to retire? We already have so many duplicate numbers it’s ridiculous. Believe it or not, it didn’t used to be that way. We shouldn’t retire anyone’s jersey. Do a ring of honor or something like that. And yes, Faulk should be up there.

I’d hope that they’re retiring a jersey to ring of honor and not necessarily retiring the number. I think Faulk, Whitworth, Dorsey, Burrow and Daniels need their jerseys in the stadium. I’d personally only retire No.9.

I do because the three that are retired were all time.

Only Cannons number is retired.

Faulk, JD, Dorsey and Burrow retired jerseys and Burrow statue?

Im so sick of the Dorsey talk. I loved Dorsey, but he belongs no where near these others. In fact Honey Badger deserves it more than Dorsey. Great player, but he is not on that level.
