Because it’s fricking stupid.
It can be beneficial to the kids who really have a shot at the next level. But it’s crucial that the kids have good coaches. And there are far too many bad ones out there just ruining kids. My son’s team played one the other day. Kid was 12 years old and the coach left him in to throw 93 pitches. At fricking 12 years old. The kid was absolutely struggling and his parents were barking at him from the stands. One of the saddest things I’ve seen as that kid’s going to end up hating baseball if he doesn’t already and if he goes much longer he’ll have to have surgery in HS.
That happens far too often

It should be a 0-0 game if PM isn’t a pussy and bring in the worst pitcher on the team who had no business pitching this weekend much less ahead of your best available
