frick the media and their over inflated sense of importance.
These are people trying to write about stuff you might be interested in, asking questions you might like answers to. What an odd thing to be upset about.

Corbin went looking for his missing chromosome
The AD made him go pick up all the LSU home run balls from the weekend as punishment, and he knew he’d be awhile.

From the article:
I’ve been trying to tell people here this for a while now.

Its flaws, too, haven’t just appeared suddenly. They were just obscured last season by two starting pitchers so tremendous they were able to carry a team that was struggling in Omaha at the plate and in the field within one win of a national title.

Vanderbilt coach Tim Corbin was well on his way out the door, already near the warning track in left field when reporters made it down to the field to ask him about a 21-10 loss to LSU that capped a woeful weekend and a home sweep. Corbin kept walking.
This I can sorta understand
quote:
In the coach's place, Vanderbilt sent a player – right fielder Spencer Jones – to answer for how the Commodores collapsed on the field, blowing an early 6-0 lead, allowing 11 runs in the eighth inning, losing a game – and a series – they badly needed to boost hopes of hosting an NCAA regional.

He’s not having as much fun without Leiter and Rocker.

Ya hate to see it.
Not really.

Saturday was awesome beating them to death after falling behind. Corbin is an ahole. Great coach horrible demeanor. Talked to an espn guy about shooting a quick vid of my five year old and he said they would have him fired by tomorrow. Vandy sucks

So much for leadership from the front. Gotta be better than that coach.

I think he's finding out that actually having to compete for recruits and develop the players you get to campus is harder than it looks.
Scott Brown kind of sucks. His biggest success stories are a guy that would have been a success literally anywhere (Leiter) and a guy who still couldn't throw a third pitch for a strike by the time he left despite having 1st round talent (Rocker).
And outside of roid boy JJ Bleday, they haven't developed a position player worth a shite since Dansby Swanson.

Just read today that the last time Corbin skipped a post game presser was after a Florida game in 2015. That time he left a freshman out to dry with the media. At least this time it was a sophomore.
What an absolute piece of shite.
What an absolute piece of shite.

Come on Project this simply isn't true. Tyler Beede, Kyle Wright, Carson Fulmer, Walker Buehler come to mind. They have consistently had one of the top staffs in the nation while he's been there

They have the #2 class in '22 and the #1 class in '23...

All of these guys were recruited to Vandy by someone other than Brown. Some of them didn't play their entire careers under him.
Alan Dunn started off pretty hot at LSU too. Guys fall off sometimes. Brown has.

Holy crap
1) That’s the 1st time I’ve ever seen him without a hat on, assumed he was bald for some reason
2) Dude is on the verge of a nervous breakdown

They pretty much got there right when he did so he helped develop them into what they became. Hell Bryce Harper even wanted him a couple of years ago. We can agree to disagree. I think he’s one of the top pitching coaches in the country
