Far out scenario bc Michigan is not going into Columbus and beating OSU.

Either way both strength of schedules rank below 60th

TCU is going to lose big 12 title game against Kansas state. LSU upsets Georgia to win SEC, USC wins out and is Pac 12 champs. How do you seed that? Doubt Georgia LSU end up 2 and 3

1). Ohio State
2). Georgia
3). USC
4). LSU

It’s been proven already with Penn St not getting in after winning the Big.

Penn State beat OSU on a miracle blocked FG returned for a TD, in October. They did not beat the #1 team in the country in December.

Even still, the CFP committee was (rightfully) ridiculed for putting OSU in the playoff that year - especially after they went on to get destroyed 31-0 in the first round.

There’s a lot of talk about how no 2-loss team has made the CFP before, but the flip side is that no SEC champion has been left out. There are a lot of potential scenarios that could put the committee in a tough spot. However, we don’t even know how the committee will react if those scenarios play out. For all we know they could just pick four P5 champions to relieve the controversy.

Saying shite like “LSU just won’t make it” is ignorant.

I am not going to stress over a situation that we were not even supposed to be in this year

I do hope ND helps us out though this weekend

Climpson is done. Cooked. Dead and buried.
Whether LSU makes the playoff depends solely on our beating both 4&8 and UGA. If we do we're in. And if an Ohio state university blows the doors off of Michigan (which I fervently hope won't happen and realistically expect might well happen) there will be room for 2 SEC teams in the field.

LSU will have beaten the number 7, 6, and 1st ranked teams in November. Who else did that? The 1 point special teams fiasco in week 1 won't matter.

We're in if we beat Georgia.

Oh frick, oh no, what will we ever do! It's not like if we win out we make the playoffs or anything. Let Lincoln Riley think he has a shot at winning anything at USC for second.

I dont think they will pass us in the CFP because the Committee knows we have a set date with UGA. If we lose we cirle down the drain.

USC passed us last week in the Coaches Poll but not sure what logic they were using.

College football is a damn joke. So if USC has one loss with a pussy schedule they deserve it more than a 2 loss SEC team. Comparing apples to oranges. BS like this is why the NFL is far and away a better sport.

Clemson just climbed up in the rankings just by beating lowly Miami. They are 7 in the AP and LSU is still 6.

If Clemson wins out they will pass up LSU due to having one fewer loss. I hate to say it. Freaking extra point vs FSU.

Clemson will probably be ahead of LSU in both polls when they beat South Carolina and LSU will stay 6 after beating garbage Texas A&M.

Really hoping USC-East doesn’t come down off the high from their “generational game” and lay a fat egg next week—making Dambo and co. look even better.

There was nothing stopping them from putting USC ahead of LSU last week if they were so determined.

What are you saying, that if LSU wins out, 1-loss Georgia goes in before 2-loss SEC champion LSU?

Not only do I expect USC to lose at least one more game, I think that even if they don't, a win over Georgia would push LSU back over them, if they do indeed pass us.
