What makes anyone think they would move this game to any college stadium not in Columbia or BR? That makes zero sense.

Why would they want Anthens any more than Baton Rouge?

Only place I've seen Athens brought up is people online just throwing it out there, haven't seen anything about it actually being discussed.

Because it wouldn't be a home game for their opponent?

Well hell then, let's go to Wyoming while we are at it. What a stupid idea

While Athens would be fun, moving it there would disrupt a 3rd school in a smaller city.

Is there precedent for this? Why on Earth would any athletic department not involved in this game want any part in dealing with hosting it short notice?

So much happened that day. I fell 8 feet off the wall into a bush to get on the field. Passed out in third quarter.

I have been told that if the game gets moved to LSU, it would be a 4:00 kickoff. I'm not sure if that time is specific to Tiger Stadium, or any venue change.

LSU has said yes? I'm glad LSU got their act together from the McNeese debacle.

Yeah. An open college stadium won't have the resources available... Or I should say the resources to get the resources available if that makes sense. Most of the admin is on the road at their own FB game and working those logistics.

USCe would want to play there before BR.

I dont care where they prefer to play. BR makes the most sense outside of Columbia which isnt possible right now.

Kinda figured, I hadn't seen it mentioned too much. Charlotte is probably the best option, if it can be worked out.

I am waiting for Jerry Jones to pipe in and ask them have the game at Cowboys Stadium.

I was just answering one specific question (re: why might USC prefer that to Tiger Stadium). I'm not trying to argue moving the game there is a good idea.

What makes college stadiums any different than pro stadiums?

Athens is closer to Columbia than Atlanta is, and their stadium is plenty big enough. It makes just as much sense as half the other locations.

I think it's pretty set that it will be moved. They want Charlotte bad but haven't gotten it worked out yet I don't think. That's just a guess.
