SOS now at 39

Nice! The BIGGEST knock against us! I was really hoping the tourney would get it up 39 or better. Just looks better than 41.

Looking at the numbers, I'm still nervous. I would have been a lot more comfortable if Rice had lost. I'm honestly not worried about Ole Miss or Vandy and had already figured that the Big 12 would get one national seed. I think TCU gets the 7th and it's between Rice and LSU for the 8th.

I'm still worried as well it isn't locked down yet. We could be #10 by the end of the night.

it'd be funny if the last regular season game of the season for the entire country swung it and someone lost a seed, a host, or a bid in the eyes of the committee (Washington leading UCLA 6-1 in the 7th inning)...

Guess it didnt..they announced the hosts in the 7th inning of the Washington game.

Those chokes against UCLA including last night might have hurt.

I just think LSU will host simply because in a close call like this...

The Money talks and LSU brings more than any other school can possibly bring during the postseason.

Seating Capacities
TCU - 4,500
Rice - 5,368
Miami - 5,000
Ole Miss - 8,500
Cal Poly - 1,534
Oklahoma State - 3,821
LSU - 12,000+ with SRO

So basically, if the committee is trying to figure out if they should take LSU or someone else...

Cal Poly, Rice, and TCU can sell out their stadiums and LSU would still have room for more people.

Oh and the seats are already sold for LSU....soooooooo

We already know we're hosting. Are you saying everyone that projects has us as a national seed?

The question I have is would the committee give Rice the #8 over LSU/(OM or SCar) at the expense of the SEC (#1 RPI conf) getting only one Natl Seed, while the ACC (#3) gets two?

When do they release the teams in each regional? Also, have they released the seeding yet? Or will they do that at the same time? tia
