Our best gymnast isn't Olivia Dunn, but a 21 yr old Black Woman. Kai Rivers. And real LSU Fans are proud as hell of her!
What relation does this have to the subject

LSU is as leftist and full of racial pandering and pretend victimization as any school in the country. Woodward has made LSU Athletics into a hardcore left wing political entity.

Uh what? The delusion is strong with this one.

So someone can't get upset with someone using the N word around them unless they fight "black on black crime"? Do you even listen to yourself?
no, they're saying that expending all the righteous indignation over a word in a song might be better spent on trying to address tangible problems, like actual people being actually harmed/killed by out-of-control violent crime in Chicago, and other places.

I think it’s dumb and counter-productive that we have given this much power to a word that wasn’t used very much by white people anymore anyway.

If we collectively hadn’t given it this much power, then only the weakest of the weak mentality would be hurt by a white person rapping along with song lyrics.

I understand where we are now with this as a society, I wouldn’t be using the word either way, and I don’t like hearing the word spoken in a derogatory way about black people, but I think it’s undeniable that the current situation is a step back for society compared to a “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me” attitude.

What it really is (not for everyone who gets upset about it, but for the people who pushed us to this point) is a power play, putting white people in their place by not allowing them to say certain words.

Good people don’t offend other people for no good reason, and good people aren’t racist. I’m not defending that behavior.

well this is a LSU message board that is primarily the LSU fan base. I don’t know what you really expect? Why not spell it out for us? This girl no doubt was throughly vetted and was approved by LSU, the coaches and the current team that consist of a few top notch black gymnasts. I ask again what do you want?

these four women to harassed this poor girl have now hijacked the gymnastics program
Best thing they could do is boot the troublemakers off the team and send the message that the cancel culture BS will not be tolerated any more. If nobody stands up, it will continue to hurt everyone.

UCLA will likely be a dumpster fire this year anyway. Hit a full reset and they could come through this much better and more "diverse" than they currently are. Would be nice for them if they weren't so limit in who they can recruit.
