Oh good grief, dude- weed kills so many people, yeah he he came real close to a marijuana overdose

Dude would've gotten a multimillion dollar (legit) handshake these days.
The way his college days ended after the $10k handshakes, I feel like things in his life would’ve really fallen apart and his NFL career doesn’t happen if he would’ve gotten the million dollar deals.

Very myopic point of view. Very few people may overdose or have an adverse reaction due to ingesting weed, but a whole lot of people have died due to weed.

Friend of a friend ODed on fentanyl from smoking weed. You never know what else might be in that bag.
Legalize and tax it.

You know, the first step is to admit your problem.

Thanks again for kicking him off the team Les
To be clear. Les didn’t kick him off the team. The LSU administration kicked him out of school. This was patently unfair since other students at LSU aren’t even drug tested much less kicked out of school for drugs.
It did work out best for HB7 to get his life turned around. Les had him on second chance 11 or 12 at that point.

Neither one of these two can speak the English language well. Embarrassing. Two grown men who cannot articulate any better than fifth-graders.

Without football, TM may very well have fallen into the life of his real father. Look back at his life and what it took to get that guy to break the cycle. Him getting kicked of the team and the path it took to get him out of NOLA and into the NFL was indeed lifesaving. I think Patrick Peterson should get more credit for saving his life than Les Miles. Les did give him a wakeup call though.

I was also pissed off because it probably cost LSU a national title.
Nope. Les had no option to have TM on that team. If he didn’t kick him off he’d have had an unmotivated pothead that used to be Tyrann.

I think I’ll have a puff now. It’s ok. I have a prescription.

i've talked to and asked enough former LSU players, point blank, were they getting paid, and every single one of them admitted they got paid under the table..
I think everyone assumed players have always gotten paid but there’s no way it was as much or widespread as this. The people who insist NIL is no big deal bc players have always gotten paid aren’t considering the scale

They got paid to sign and would get envelopes with cash if they had a big game. Honey Badger had lots of big games. Now more guys are getting way more money. The back up O-line is getting more that he was getting when he was the best athlete in college football.

Weed doesn't kill people and college kids smoke a lot of it. That wasn't the point he was making.
Tyrann himself has said that life change saved his life. He was hanging out with the wrong people from back home, prioritizing the wrong things, etc. Getting kicked off LSU gave him a wake up call and then having Patrick Peterson mentor him got his life back on a path to success. He might've ended up like any other poor black kid from the New Orleans projects, which unfortunately, often ends 6 feet under or in jail at a young age.

Casino chips was a popular mechanism for that. I was friends with some basketball and football players in college and have seen money change hands. A couple of times thousands of dollars in the form of casino chips.

If it wasn’t from the coaches directly, it was in the form of them or their families continently getting “really good deals” on nice cars, houses, etc. Hell even just playing HS football in Louisiana I knew a few guys who were getting treatment like that
