Solution: Bama loses 2 games without Tua.

As always - same as it ever was. Same as it ever was.
Best case is for LSU to run the tables to 13 -0 and Au beat Al.

LSU will beat bama and the excuse will be because Tua was banged up.

Then a 1 loss bama will slide into the playoffs and the excuse will be now that Tua is healthy it’s hard to argue that bama is not one of the four best teams in CFB.
Even though it's the most unpopular opinion in tRant, this is exactly why I want to play and beat Bama at full strength.

Everyone knows that beating Alabama is hard enough, but beating them in a rematch is virtually impossible. I'd rather face them with a healthy Tua on the 9th, because the exact scenario you mentioned will 100% play out exactly as you laid it out.

So, you think it could be:

LSU
Ohio State/Penn State winner
Clemson

AND

1 loss Alabama over

Unbeaten Oklahoma?

Will never happen.

11-1 Alabama isn't getting in over any undefeated or 1 loss conference champs. If they did, it would immediately destroy the CFP. The other P5 conferences aren't going to stand for that.

They will get a mulligan opportunity from the media just like they did in 2011 and how USC got it back in the early 2000s regardless if Tua is healthy or hurt.

I’m calling BS. If Tua had all this done to his ankle, there’s very little chance he going to be even 50% in three weeks.

Yes, and they will purposely put a 1-loss Bama as the #3 seed so that they can set up an LSU vs Bama rematch in the CFP Final for all the marbles. But UNLIKE 2011, this LSU team will beat Bama TWICE!

I’m calling it now. BOOKMARK IT!!

LSU will have to play both UF and Bama twice this year.

This is all too plausible. That's why the refs could not allow the Vols to make a game of it.

That's what the vet used on my dogs CCL. It took him 6 weeks to get over it.

2011?

2011 is the reason they went away from the BCS, and put a committee of humans in charge.

But this year could have the same impact. There's a good chance that someone who has decent odds to win the whole thing, will get left out.
6 or 8 team playoff will be the adjustment.

This just gives the Midget a couple of weeks off while we are playing The Gaytors again to whine about injuries and feign ignorance IF someone asks him about his statement circa 2010 that teams that don’t win their conference shouldn’t be in the playoffs. They love a mulligan
