I feel like every WR post OBJ/Landry has had issues with catching the football. It's rare that I see a team with 5 or 6 drops in a game unless I'm watching LSU. Then, if the WR transfers somewhere else, no more issues with drops. WTF is the problem?

Not developing receivers like Quinn has been a serious problem for the program.

Shrubber, It is amazing to me but I guess the pressure of big games gets to anyone. The Saints Arnold dropped a td pass last night. Everyone bitches about LSU vs Bama this year and no points it out that there were a couple or three on target throws that could have been caught and got us in scoring position. Not easy catches but great receivers on great teams make those catches.
But against Rice its inexplicable. There's no pressure in that game at all, its essentially a clambake with senior night and all that.
I'll never forget how absolutely shocked I was when the staff figured out that Dwayne Bowe who had been dropping balls right and left needed contacts and remember at the time a friend saying "every Tiger player should have an eye test with their physical when they report". I just don't get it. These are super talented, gifted athletes who have caught a thousands of passes. What possible explanation can there be?
And ill just say it; it doesn't help that the Bama freaks seemingly catch anything and everything anywhere every time.
BTW don't forget Trey Quinn was a hero that same year crowd surfing when the students stormed the field.
