He's had 2 very good seasons in his last 6. The other four, his teams were just above .500.
Looks like his teams are usually about average with a special year here and there.

It seems that Johnson took a really solid program and regressed a bit.
I'll reserve judgment til we start playing some games next year.
I'm cautiously optimistic.

as if one season makes a difference? Brady had two good seasons--
I still say he is an average hire at best and I hope he proves me wrong- I bet in 4 years we are going to be looking again

I have supported LSU basketball for 30 years with season tickets- including 10 years when I did not live here- I bought them and gave them away
I have serious doubts if I will renew them-

Why dont you just say that you will reserve judgement, bc if LSU starts winning you'll second guess yourself.
This hire is not much different that the Les Miles hire. Sort of unproven, couple of big wins, nothing special, and look what has happened with him.

Oh boy! Seat upgrade here I come!
And for information's sake (not necessarily directed at 756), you are not supporting LSU basketball when you buy tickets and don't show up.

I have only read this page, but if these piece of shite posts are indicative of the quality of the rest of the thread, I think I'll pass. Instead of just not renewing your seats, why don't you just go ahead and fricking kill yourself.

So you've had tickets throughout Brady's years but are planning on not renewing them based on this hire?
Wow.
You might want to talk to one of your friends who knows a little bit about basketball before you make any harsh decisions.

Noticed that you had zero idea this was happening Josh.
What happened to your source in the LSU family?

Just heard this at 5 oclock in Houston. You gotta be kiddin me. This is the best LSU can come up with after all this time looking for a coach. Bottom of the barrel hire if you ask me. What happened to Bennett and Ford?
Looks like Colis and the rest of the "Element" ramrodded a "Black" coach through after all. It appears that this was the major pre-requisite all along.
If this goes down, it's not a good start for Alleva.
All welcome to "The Ostrich" to LSU......

I'm with you, bro..
My thinking is more asses in seats = better recruits = more wins = good times had by all.

I hope you are correct.
It that is your measuring stick he must get to the final eight in two years and get to the semis in about eight. Still convinced?
Final eight? I think you have already started to incorrectly glorify Brady's years.

(The only reason Johnson wasn't in the LSU talks in the first place is because no one foresaw his willingness to leave California.)
I think LSU's AD is brilliant for not falling for the fad of paying an incoming coach $4million a year like some SEC schools we know.
