Hopefully skeptics like myself will continue to have to create threads like this eating crow served well done by Coach O and his staff. Looking forward to the Swamp and another victory.

I have noticed the change in you. it seems that you were much more than skeptical at first, then moved up to skeptical and now confessing and being damn big about it.

I certainly understand why people were very skeptical as I was myself when O was hired. after losing out on Fisher I was mucho disappointed and would have been skeptical about anyone else, esp Herman (not a fan of him). His actions started turning me around (even tho some hated him for what I liked him for). I really LIKED our first two recruiting classes and I really LIKED the fact he immediately canned Canada when the hire didn't work out. Miles drove me crazy with his loyalty to underperforming coaches.

Also, I must confess to being skeptical of the Ensminger promotion. I am most happy to see that I was wrong. He has used effective game plans for every game so far and last night his play calling was a thing of beauty.

Success is all about doing the right things and signing the right recruits. We aren't going to win all of our games nor is O on the level of Saban or Meyer but O has made watching LSU football fun again for me.

why do you give a frick how our total yards per game rank? we have scored more points than every opponent we played against; that's the stat that counts.

people that always throw out one stat to prove a point get my goat, esp w/o qualifiers. your stat proves nothing. it doesn't take into account who we've played, how we game planned them, how we are overcoming injuries and how much we are improving (among other relevant things that also influence future results WAY more than historical yards per game).

don't join the debate team.

This team is well coached. It's nice to see us not getting stupid penalties like before or poor clock managements issues.

We've had issues with this this season. Had a delay of game last night.

c'mon man. please drop this narrative. it has been beaten to death and there is no constructive, informational, or entertainment value in keeping it going.

many of the O haters have converted; haven't you heard?

LSU had the talent to go 11-2 last season. They didn’t and it had a lot more to do with coaching than talent. imo

If you watched the games you would realize that if LSU had Cole Tracy last season they probably would have been 11-2. LSU missed two FGs against Notre Dame - one was 22 yards and the other was 37 yards.

That's not having talent to go 11-2. Hell the LSU kickers missed 3 extra points last season. Field goal kickers matter.

So criticizing the D ranking. Issues with Aranda?

Yes a Burrow fumble was called back bc the guy that made him fumble was twisting his head around by the facemask. Do you think that might have caused him to fumble? You're not very bright are you.

Signing Burrow has a lot do with it. I'd already liked the concept of the offense in the spring game, but like everyone else was concerned with the QBs. I figured Orgeron had made a bunch of changes after what was kind of a disappointing season, so give him a chance.

Who knows what the long term success will be. But, for right now, I don't mind being wrong one damn bit and if it takes a crow eating thread every Sunday, I will be more than happy to oblige.

“ that’s not having the talent to go 11-2”

If you don’t think LSU had talent to beat both Troy and Notre Dame, I don’t know what I can tell you.

As for as kickers or concern, what LSU coach has been on staff since 2015, been recruiting coordinator, interim coach, and head coach? Mighten that guy have some responsibility for LSU kicking game in 2017.

I have to say I'm still not sure how good this team is. We could be moving toward a 2011 type season. Success wise, not comparing talent. Or, this could be like 2015 where we started 7-0 then lost 3 straight.

I do think we are getting a lot of kinks straightened out each week and if we can get a healthy cohesive OL we should be a tough out vs anyone. I think we can hang with any team, but the Bama team this year is probably Saban's best all around team so I will be shocked if they lose a game this year.

Our OL coach is earning every cent. This guy is a beast.
I said before the season that Cregg would have to be a Miracle Worker to get anything out of this bunch.

So far he has been, considering all the injuries and shuffling. (Combined with the talent level)

I'd love to see what he could do with SEC Championship caliber OL's. You have to recruit em for that to happen. Start in Burrowland Ohio...….

He was hired as full time coach after the last game of 2016. He kept the recruiting class intact. LSU had Colby Delahoussaye in 2016. Who knew the kickers LSU had last season would miss so many FG's and extra points.

Did he not improve the kicking position to your liking since last season ended? You are not happy with Cole Tracy and Avery Atkins? Have you seen the new kicker coming in that is rated in the top 5 in the country?

There you go, still whining.

Are you even enjoying the season? All you do is cry about things that were said weeks and months ago. People can change their opinions as the evidence changes.

You should be happy with all of the people that have converted but still, not enough for you.

Call me crazy, but isn't the coach's job to evaluate his players and address the situation accordingly?

Look at this loser.

Has absolutely nothing to add to this thread of substance, sitting around like a dork over in the corner waiting for someone to post something about him and his merry band of fricking idiots that hate O.

F off pal... just Gtfo.
Find another team to root for.

LSU is clicking along just fine and O and his coaches deserve a ton of credit.

Yeah, the Dline coach should always be in charge of evaluating kickers. No one else, even the head coach should have a say on the matter.

Are you people complaining about Cole Tracy or Avery Atkins or both?

This guy is from Auburn Ala-fricking-Bama. A headline of a search for Avery who makes field goals on his kickoffs:
HIGH SCHOOL. One of the top kickers in the nation, listed as a four-star prospect according to Kohl's Kicking Professional Camps … Was a three-year letterman ..

Here is a picture of Cole Tracy after the Auburn game at Auburn:

that's why you don't belong in the nega group. They said Orgeron and Ensminger were idiots who couldn't do shite. Now they are doing a lot of historical revisionism as to what they said and what they meant.
