It’s been like 1 day. Expect more for all teams including LSU.

Is he still not in the playoffs with a chance to win it all? That was what that post was referring to. and Mich has their 3rd and 4th TE in the portal. Both could get a ring but are choosing to step away.

Dandy Don said that there a weird delay thing about LSU students being able to transfer, so LSU kids "in" the portal may take a few days.

The Ohio State receiver wasn't medically cleared to play in the playoff. Also, he's not entering the portal, he's declaring for the NFL draft.

I wouldn't even count the 2 for LSU since both players left the team for medical reasons before the season started.

I think that there is and there will be going forward different categories of players hitting the portal. There are, as you say, players with medical issues. I'm almost positive there are players that are "encouraged" to look elsewhere by coaches. There are players where their existing team is probably somewhat neutral about whether they go. Then there are players that the existing team hates to see go but they are leaving for their own reasons (NIL money, playing time, personality clashes, etc.)

SIAP, but do the players not have to sit out a year if they transfer a second time? I thought that was the rule but I guess not.

Seeing a few guys who are transferring for a second time (JT Daniels, etc.) and I thought you could only do it once without sitting?

For the second transfer the old rules apply.

1. Have to sit out a year UNLESS
a. Transfer from Big School to small or the NCAA gives you a waiver (usually pretty easy to get)
