You can't run long developing routes when they bring everyone. It has to be short juke moves to get open under coverage but over the rush. Maybe they just didn't plan for it. I'm not sure but these guys do need to get it together

Little improvements. But unfortunately thats not something that can win you anything of value. If all you want is 9-4, then thats fine and I can see why you're happy.
That's not it at all. I want an undefeated season. The difference is-- You see the status quo and assume it won't improve. I see the status quo and believe it will improve. Time will tell who is correct. Contrary to your approach, I will be happy in the present until and if losses mount. You will be miserable in the present even with wins. Regardless, neither of us will have an effect on the future of this team. If I'm right, LSU wins. If you're right LSU loses and O gets canned. You should be happy with either outcome, right?

I agree. Can you post some of the more objective metrics?
W/L%
Total yardage is a moral victory

The status quo - time will tell if we're even good enough to reach a Miles offensive standard. And we've seen the same "status quo" every year and ended with 3-4 losses most of the last decade - to assume it won't cost us just doesn't appear realistic.
You also make a huge assumption - maybe I just have better mental health than people you know - but my feelings on LSUs offense and direction have no bearing on my overall happiness. LSU is something I love and want the best for - and know that we can be one of the best. Football is something I love to discuss. I can have criticism and concerns for LSU and not shoot my dog and become an alcoholic at the same time. My happiness is defined by much more important things.

o if we beat Southeastern 3-0,
Yes, I would be happy with a score of LSU 3/ Other Team 0 for every game remaining on the schedule.

The offense ran pretty darn efficiently for the first quarter and then in spurts in the second so we know it's possible.
The first drive was a 3 and out. The other two they scored on both started in SELU territory - one off the fumble and one from Giles punt return. The only drive where they went the length of the field for a TD the entire game was the Hail Mary at the end of the first half.

So wins don't count any more? It's yards per game that matter? I'll take wins over yards, every single game.

Your posts are becoming increasingly idiotic.

How many times have we seen this unfold again and again and again?? We play a bad game, win it and then perform at a different level the next week against better competition. Happens all the time.
so does playing super shitty on offense early and losing games that matter later because of it

Wow. You read all this into my reply? I really just meant you will "bitch and complain and worry and predict future failure on TRant." I certainly never thought you'd "shoot your dog and become an alcoholic."

Of course I would rather win but wanting a somewhat competent offense isn't the same as wanting an X box offense.

If you mattered, that may have hurt my feelings.

that's the problem with these low expectation having motherfrickers
they think fans wanting a good offense means we are pushing to be like Texas Tech
hell these idiots are even propping up Bama's offense like it's 2011

Is asking for an average offense too high of a bar to have?

You said I would be miserable in the present. Unfortunately I can only see the words you write - not the ones in your head you don't type. Must be part of your happiness in the present.
I'm more than willing to be happy on the rant, whatever that state of being is, with an explosive offense and dominating defense that puts LSU in position to achieve something. When we're clearly lacking, I'm going to call us out for it.
