It's been said, numerous times, Coach O being quoted as well, that Coach E does not want the responsibilities/time requirement it takes to be an OC at this point in his career. And he was not Coach O's "choice". Kiffin was. In the article today, Coach O used the word "interim" in regards to Coach E. Chill a bit & enjoy the way LSU's season ended ....and bama's.

Asked if he’d continue using Canada’s scheme if he left, the coach said, “It all depends. I have in mind what we want on offense also. I’ve been at some pretty good schools, pretty good offenses. If people leave, we have guys like (tight ends coach) Steve Ensminger who I’d highly consider. Done a great job for us last year. Those things got to happen in the near future.

Is this real?

I'm pretty sure he's talking about Ensminger as an interim. He didn't want the OC job last year, so why would he want it now?

As for Canada, if he is offered a HC position he will take it regardless of what O or the AD do. Kiffin took a HC job at a mid major so why wouldn't Canada. I know a lot folks were saying that he's been wanting to get a HC gig for a while.

It sucks. I don't want us switching OCs constantly. We need the continuity for scheme and recruiting as well as QB development.

O has said in the past that Ensminger doesn't want to be an OC.

I never said he was some elite coordinator, but we could certainly do worse (cam and les). The UF game was not on him. Turnovers were all that slowed us down that day. Against bama, no one could have called much of a game with the way we got handled up front.

If Canada really is leaving for a HC job I hope it happens fast. I don’t think Dan Enos will be on the market very long, and I’d love to see his offense with our talent.

I think people say Enos because it’s a familiar name they heard of.

Why tf would you want LSU to run another plotting-I-formation Offense in which top teams like Bama salivate to destroy?

I just can't buy O and Canada almost fought and Canada isn't broken

Did O get soft

And in fairness to O I would have fought either after Troy lost
