he offense ran at a high level with him last year. We should absolutely do a search, but he’s not a bad option.

This would be as ridiculous as hiring coach o last year so I'm not ruling it out.

These two would be huge in recruiting...those guys have great relationships with Texas HS coaches!

Is tRant old enough to get that reference?

Yes. Sadly. How could anyone in their 30s or older have gotten over the shite offense he produced.

Canada is not head coaching material. That premise is laughable.

I'm way out of touch here - but didn't Enos's contract say he couldn't leave for another OC position inside the SEC?

Not when the HC gets let go. It’s every man for himself

He's not jumping ship on his own. This smells like the way Les used to push guys out. Tell them quietly they need to move on and pretend like they decided to leave on their own when they find a new job.

You cant be serious right?. I have a hard time believing you said that with a straight face. There is quite a few OCs I would go after before I would settle with Ensminger. And plus he said last year he did not want to be a full time OC.

How about a thread if O jumps ship or if Aranda jumps ship? Can we at least wait until some meaningful rumors with sources arise!

LSU needs to sign an OC who actually played the QB position at a high level (college or pros). Our achilles heel has been the inability to recruit and develop a QB. Any choice that doesn't include QB experience at a high level is not address the root cause of all our problems.

Hiring Ensminger would be the beginning of the end for O and Alleva.

Our Looney Tunes AD replaced Elmer Fudd with Yosemite Sam. Under normal circumstances I would let the HC pick his coordinators. Unfortunately, Alleva needs to keep a leash on Orgeron or this will become Ole Miss part II.
