Herman or Fisher.

"Settle for" candidates: Mullen and--hell yes, I'm headed to the dark side, Petrino.

prepare to be disappointed. LSU will not be able lure any of these. Not sure why you'd want shaw anyway. Get ready for someone like fedora, Mullen or Gundy. Mullen may be a long shot due to his bloated salary st MSU.

Say what you want about saw his team scores touchdowns. He's good at getting his best players the ball as well. He's also recruits pretty good considering he's at highly rated school in terms of academics.

Not Gundy. We don't need another Oklahoma State coach who can't speak English.

Mullen has been trying to get out of Starkville The last few years. He's gone if lsu wants him. Sec frowns upon interconference coach stealing though.

just don't see the attraction to Jimbo.
69-14 as head coach and has a national championship. He also recruits at the highest level with Alabama, OSU, and LSU. What's not to love really?

Shaw wouldn't leave Stanford.

No on Franklin, Graham, Gundy, and Mullen.

Shaw/miles takes over and gets credit even though they can't win the big games.

Miles has beaten more ranked teams than any coach from 2005- present.

Saban is reportedly flying into NO for a meeting at the Intercontinental 9/13. It's supposed to be a day trip.

Very subjective. Miles has probably faced more ranked teams than most coaches in that span. What's the winning percentages?

I would certainly add Chris Peterson to the list. He is legit and wouldn't break the bank.

How is it subjective? A poster said lsu loses big games. You cant be known for losing big games and have the most wins against ranked opponents of any program in his tenure. I wasnt using coaches. I was using programs

Please show me the program with wins over miami(the last time they were good), ohio state, oregon, west va ( twice), va tech, tcu, ga tech in the last 11 years.

It could be that he wins games against teams ranked 15-25, and loses games against those ranked 1-14. Also, what's that record since the beginning of the 12 season?

What about Tony Dungy?
Mike ditka?

I'll throw a wild card out there, Peyton Manning?

David Shaw would be more of the same.

Dude loves some heavy protection packages and tight ends

The Stanford offense is great. They're creative out of the Pro style formation, and they utilize the Tight Ends.

Fact is nothing is wrong with a tight end or the I formation. Mark Richt made this style extremely successful at Georgia. It's what you do in the formation that makes a difference. Toss dive, toss dive, pass has got to change though.

Much of the same is a statement of ignorance.

I predict Miles goes 8-4, but defense is really solid. Administration offers job to Aranda.
