LSU @ Bama in 1982 - best game ever! Bama didn't score a first down the entire first half. Bear Bryant retired at the end of the season and died several months later.

LSU vs Fla State 1982 - the *Orange Bowl* game with the oranges flying everywhere on the field
LSU vs UCF in the Fiesta Bowl 2018 - Joe's coming out party when we all realized just how special he was!

My top 5 LSU games seen in person are:
1. LSU vs. Clemson 2019 NC win
2. LSU vs. Ohio State 2007 NC win
3. LSU vs. UF 1997 win

5. LSU vs. Oregon 2011 win
Honorable mention for me because it was a loss was the LSU USC Trojan game in 1979. We had the #1 team in the nation beat until a 3rd down face mask penalty late in the 4th quarter was called against Benjy Thibodeaux. I played high school football against Benjy; he played Def Line for Notre Dame (Crowley) and I played for Jennings. He was an amazing defensive lineman and a one man wrecking show.

In no particular order except that the USC game is the greatest sporting event I’ve ever witnessed…and we lost, so that tells you something about the energy in Tiger Stadium that night!

Washington was 83. It was crazy in the student section. The steps were packed with students. LSU 42-14. That would have been one of my top 5.
Other than the NC games in New Orleans it would have been LSU/Fla ST in 82(oranges everywhere on the field). Then LSU/Ga 2003. LSU/Fla 2007. Earthquake game in 88 - Auburn.
