re: Have you ever been more grateful or enjoyed a bye week more than this one?

Never! It was a brutal weekend. Just goes to show that rankings don't mean that much this early. :geauxtigers:...
Fans were throwing oranges onto the field throughout the game, due to us going to the Orange Bowl that year.
That was a great game! We were throwing oranges anticipating going to the Orange Bowl IF we beat the Noles. The announcers were kind of clueless, wondering what was g...

1965 Tulane 62-0 home game
Ole Miss away 1967
I can't remember any neutral games back then unless they were bowl games. The most recent one was the Fiesta Bowl 2018 ~ Burrow's coming out party! What a game. 50-yard line seats right behind the Tiger bench. Bucket list for this old lady fan....

This drives me crazy about Your Honor with Bryan Cranston
Posted by CaLSUTigerFan on 7/8/24 at 4:14 pm
We watched the series when it was originally on and enjoyed it. I just watched the first episode again with my son. People who aren't familiar with NOLA wouldn't realize this but the way they drive across the greater NOLA bridge makes me crazy.
When Adam is driving from his house (obviously som...

Mondo Duplantis
Posted by CaLSUTigerFan on 5/28/24 at 8:56 pm
We were in Sweden last week and I was wearing my LSU baseball cap. Several people commented on Mondo being one of their favorite athletes in Sweden. Our Swedish tour director kept calling him their national hero. He said his mother is obsessed with him and won't let anyone talk when he is on TV. ...

The recent movie One Life with Anthony Hopkins made my husband tear up.
Tearing up and crying are two different things. There are lots of movies that make people tear up. Dumbo made me tear up.
To this day, when I hear the theme from Brian's Song, I tear up....

He turned out to be a big jerk. Sounds like he hired a talent agency but she wanted to live a normal life. The narrative of him grieving for his wife who died was a lie. He dated then moved in with someone within a month of her passing. Teresa is better off without him. JMHO of course....

I always liked Ned Beatty. I was an extra in the movie The Toy which was filmed in Baton Rouge. He ate lunch with the extras whereas Jackie Gleason acted like we didn't exist. The movie was pretty bad, in my opinion.
Poor Ned was also in Deliverance. ...

They filmed the part where they showed who the shooter was by filming every major character in the show. That way, no one knew and couldn't leak it. These days it would have been all over social media before the credits rolled....
