Vitello will never be a coach at LSU. He’s too immature and doesn’t have enough class to be a baseball coach at LSU. He’s a sore loser and talks way too much shite than a head coach is supposed to. Anyone who wanted him, he lost his chance of becoming the LSU coach yesterday after losing to Arkansas.

I can promise you that Dave Van Horn wasn't innocent in this exchange. He is universally regarded as one of the biggest assholes in the sport.

He did whine about it, even though Cannizaro didn't "steal" him.
Allen decommitted after Cannizaro left. He wasn't coming to LSU whether he went to Mississippi State or not. His mom begged Canny to take him at State and he finally relented. I think my stance on Cannizaro has been made clear before, but he didn't do anything wrong in this instance.

only because Andy told Paul to his face that he wouldn't cherry pick any players from LSU's class after accepting the MSU job but Paul had zero connection to the kid because he doesn't recruit
Would you rather play for Paul or the juice head who is banging university employees? Allen looks like the type who'd prefer the latter.

Vitello said DVH congratulated him for a great series and complimented him on the season they are having. He further admitted to bringing up dumb shite at the wrong time. DVH is not going to just let anyone get in his face and spout off. Especially one of his students of the game. DVH is the sole reason Vitello has a head coaching gig right now. How about a little respect?
Vitello is a good coach though. He's just young and firey. He was at AR too. He will learn to be a little more professional in time.

I wanted Vitello till I saw this confrontation and he still had his mask on.
Not sure what is worse right now... fiery coaches still conceding the mask bullshite or LSU not throwing the ball around after K's.

While possibly true about Vitelli, don’t underestimate Dave Van Horn’s ability to be a cocksucker.
I’m sure he is as much at fault.

You Arky queers think a little too highly of Van Horn's influence on Vitello. He also worked and played under Tim Jamieson, coached under Jim Schlossnagle, and probably most importantly is the son of a long time and very successful baseball coach.
