Lol, I'm disappointed right now as well but no. Just no.
It was true during Sam's tenure but supposedly got much more commitment in funds for this go around.

Not sure how to feel about it, honestly but we can't get much worse than we've been.

To announce he gets to take his wife back home

I think it all got leaked before the last game and he wanted to be respectful to his current school and team. His wife still works in Arkansas.
From all accounts, Wommack wasn't a serious consideration at this time due to the Pittman era. He is an alum however. I for one believe he'll be a good one one day but they can't risk that right now. I could be wrong because we've fumbled a few.
Can't tell yet if it's just spread from one post from a local guy. I try not to trust anything like that until we hear from the administration.

He and Campbell were my top picks however.

I can't believe Arkansas is going to hire Womack over guys like Eric Morris, golesh, will stein, or jedd fisch.

Not sure where anything has been confirmed?
Seeing it all over on X but prob just from Trey's post
Arkansas: Campbell (Golesh if Kiff doesn't leave)
OM: Golesh (or Kiff stays)
AU: Sumrall
UF: Not sure
I don't guess you watched Arkansas play any. They had zero issues in their regional and the environment is 2nd to none. Good luck with that.

That being said, I think it goes 3.

2-6 in their last 8 conference games before sweeping Texas without their ace and best hitter.

I don't guess you realize the Hogs just now got Wood back to form after injury. Gaeckle as well (and he still has a ways to go). We have lost one of our best relievers in Coil too. Everyone is dealing with injuries and roster issues right now.

That being said... all I can predict is there will not be a sweep by either team and at least one game will come to the wire. Just please keep the possums and nutrias and whatever else the frick you have away from the stadium!
He strikes me as someone who was a big dork and bullied a lot in school and now, he's trying way too hard to prove he's cool.
As long as it wasn't Hasz, I'm good.

Losing Ty sucks though. Paaske looked good Saturday but we'll see, I guess.
Ummm no. Most didn't even know who Muss was. As for Pittman, really just excited Morris got booted and had hope.

It's exciting now bc the AR billionaires are finally throwing their money and weight around. We'll see how it goes...

I concur. Arky donors won't like the idea of being leveraged for a better deal. Not a good way to start at the new place.

They're extremely stubborn about it... to a fault sometimes

I think either the above didn't happen or Calipari knew he'd say no. Now he can say he tried and move on.
