He has one of the best recruiting classes he’s had at UVA coming in next year. He is not leaving.

I hope not. I hate his style of play.

If it would get us a national championship like he won at Virginia, I wouldn't give a shite what style of ball we played. In the end, it's about Ws and championships.

Yeah, Woodward really needs to stop being so woke with his hires.

Any truth to the sauces that Laurel is in Baton Rouge today looking at houses with Candy Edwards? Anybody hearing Laurel wants to come back home, hates the cold Virginia winters?

Get 'em good house, Candy, show her Bocage or U Club or Highland Rd, a good driveway for goal or place to put in a full court, bebe

Fits the Woodward profile

But Woodie would have to open the checkbook, Bennett makes a lot more money than LSU was paying.

Wait, you think Tony Bennett is a splash hire?

What year is it?

I mean, he won a national championship three tournaments ago and has won the Naismith College Coach of the Year Award twice. Maybe you're confused about LSU's place in college basketball, but it would still be a splash hire at LSU for sure.

As long as we have the 36, I don't give a flying fluck. It's about winning, and NOT being caught by the NCAA when you cheat to do it.

His wife has LSU connection. They’ve been down here in the past.

And has won 59 games since. He’s also the only #1 to ever lose to a 16 seeded team and gets bounced in the first round regularly. His style is antiquated and his attempts to update have failed. We aren’t guaranteed winning with him and you don’t bring a name hire here unless he’s a guaranteed winner. I’ll point you to UGA as an example.

People are bitching about Wade’s coaching job THIS year, with a possible 5 seed coming.

Virginia won’t make the tournament this season.

Some of yall are weird. It's entertainment, not life or death. It's a game. Make it entertaining and I'll watch. If not, I won't.

And he was once again bounced in the first round last season as a #4 seed. If you’d have told me we were hiring Bennett last time the job was open I would’ve been excited but his style hasn’t come close to winning since his title. Not just Virginia btw, all the teams who play like his teams do.
