I am hoping he didn't take the job only because the money is better at LSU than Georgia. How many studs did he have to work with throughout his tenure at Georgia.

LSU recruits itself at WR

Guys, elite WR's seem to be choosing LSU every year despite an inconsistent (to put it mildly) passing game. This is because LA is producing them and TX has been good to us, as well as Frank locking them up. We don't need a recruiter here. We need someone who is a technician and get the athletes ready to play. Sounds like he can do that.

I remember some guy named AJ Green being pretty good.

Is Green the only stud he worked with since he has been the WR coach at Georgia.

Can someone edit my sig and substitute Ball for Jennings?

This was a really good hire for us. He got interviewed by quite a few big name schools while he was at UGA and constantly turned them down, so this is a nice get.

We have arguably two of the best recruiters in CFB. We are set. Glad we have a decent WRs coach. With our WR core, he should be poised to do well out of the gate.

AJ Green
Tavarres King

They seem to have good WRs every year. Malcolm Mitchell and Conley stick out in my mind.

There are tons of good WRs he has worked with at UGA.
Do you people watch other teams?

I stand corrected. Our biggest east problem is we need a QB that can throw the ball to the WR's.

with as good as a coach that he seems to be, I'm excited to see how good he can make Dupre become
Dupre has all the tools in the world to be on the AJ Green level, just needs to refine his skills
maybe he can get Dural to run more than a go route as well

Detroit Lions receiver Kris Durham is also one of Ball's former receivers.

Dupre was the first guy to come to mind when thinking about who Ball could develop. Dillon and Dural as well.

Adam Henry was that.
Tony has some big shoes to fill.

He actually didn't have a lot of talent to work with at UGA at WR; at least compared to here recently. Which is a testament IMO because UGA has had some solid reliable receivers in recent years compared to before him (I used to always joke with UGA fans about how their WRs got the dropsies).

You're sadly mistaken if you think taking Ball from us is irritating.
Sure.

Henry grew into an elite recruiter after he got here, hell most people had never heard of him when Les hired him.
I think getting a coach who is a great teacher was a very smart move by Les. Hopefully Ball steps his recruiting up a bit
