We are more likely to get in the Bama way. Finish 11-1 ( loss to Bama), avoid rematch with UGA in SECCG and hope Bama wins SEC. We manage to get 3 or 4 slot in playoff.

What really sucks is that we could beat the gumps, then lose the SEC championship game and watch the Tuscaloosa Tards make the playoffs.

I think it is likely OSU, OU, Clemson will be undefeated.
I'm assuming either LSU or Bama wins SECCG.
If so, the winner of SECCG will be in playoff.
However either OU, OSU, or Clemson have a loss then it is possible that a 1 loss SEC west could get in playoff.
Heck what if UGA only loss is in SECCG game, could they still get in playoffs?
It is entirely too early but it is fun interesting to think about how many ways we could get screwed if we went to SECCG game.

I disagree. We could lose to Georgia and still make the playoffs with our schedule.

This is true but it’s also true that they get 2nd opportunities that other teams would not. In 2011 when using the blind resume test, OK St wins. I don’t think teams that don’t win their division should get in the playoffs. It is not “anti Bama bias” but because I don’t think teams should benefit from finishing 2nd and not playing. Last year both Auburn and Wisconsin were ahead of Alabama before losing their CCG. If that counts against someone why shothe higher ranked teams not have to play it? If we are just going to use the “best team “ argument then why have a playoff at all and just go back to the old MNC?
