What an absolute freak. He’s an incredible player. Living up to that 5 star label he came in with

Really impressed with the physicality he is playing with in run support.

Pass coverage ain’t bad either. 1 completion in 5 targets for 1 yard yesterday.

Legit dude and great development by Raymond again.

What intrigues me is more and more teams are trying him as of late. Best corner since Stingley. The corners that have come through since the Saban era…WOW.

Having a 6'5 CB who makes plays in the run game is fun

He's been great. He's like Delane and Stingley where he's best used in isolation so we can bring more pressure

I feel like because of how tall and gifted Pickett is, Woodland plays with a chip on his shoulder to try and prove he is every bit as good!

Our DBs are fun to watch this year as a unit!

Raymond is the best in the business. There is no argument against it

We had someone a few weeks ago saying Pickett was less talented than previous corners we’ve had recently, lol. Not as athletic. I objected noting his incredible size and his projected speed being in the mid 4.3s. He is a project 1st round pick, but some of our fans are idiots.

I’ve been incredibly impressed by his willingness and toughness to stick his nose in and make a hard tackle.

Usually guide with his build and cover skills, shy away from contact, but this dude doesn’t. It’s freaking awesome.

Great thread. Pickett and Woodland don’t get as much attention but from what I’ve seen they consistently show up and deliver solid and dependable performances.

Locked. Done.

He’s clearly the best we’ve had in awhile but don’t let PJs performance go unnoticed as he’s come so far himself.

Neither compare to Stingley & the competition he faced in 19-20’. Stingley’s ball skills are incredible and we’ve seen Pickett drop 2-3 this year.

The SEC has seen an overcorrection with the dual threat QBs. The passing games in the SEC are absolutely atrocious to what Stingley saw in 2019.

LSU has faced the two bottom ranked QBs in the SEC by QB rating (Reed & Brown), and got a layup with Kamario Taylor’s backup. Minchey is dink & dunk machine ranking last in average depth or target.

this is what sticks out to me. he’s a great press-man cover guy, but is an elite tackler relative to modern DB’s. and seems to enjoy it as well

Best man to man corner in the country. As dominant as the d line was Pickett was the best defensive player on the field his tackling was also incredible.
