Once Pickett figures out how to play at that size he’s going to be special. He is getting better everyday. You can’t teach 6’5” with his athleticism and speed. He hasn’t even filled out his frame yet, lol. Pat Surtain is considered big and 2-3 inches shorter than Pickett. Pickett is progressing nicely with a ton of upside. I don’t get the need to tear him down. We are lucky to have him.

Funny thing is Pickett is legitimately as physically gifted as any program this program has had. 6’4 with 10.6 100 meter speed and the hip fluidity of a 5’9 guy lol he’s legitimately a faster sauce Gardner with better ball skills

Me saying he isn’t better than the most talented CB in lsu history and a future HOF’er isn’t tearing him down. I like Pickett a lot. He just isn’t in that tier

I love Stingley but respectfully I don’t think he’s more talented or better than Patrick Peterson. Peterson was the best kick returner in the country and a ridiculous lockdown man to man corner. 6’1, 220 with 4.3 speed and elite fluidity. He also gave us multiple seasons of elite production.
Stingley rlly battled injuries and didn’t exactly reach the heights of his true freshman year again while he was here. I also don’t think talent wise theirs much of a gap between Pickett and Stingley I would argue Pickett was even more physical than Stingley was. He will also be a top 10 pick himself

Bro are you good? How exactly in my take did I at all tear down Stingley lol is what I said not a fact ? He didn’t have a single interception after his true freshmen year while at LSU and did battle injuries that is a fact. So your allowed to say Pickett isn’t in Stingley tier and discrediting what he’s done because you think the competition he’s facing is weaker than Stingley but I make an argument for Peterson and you take it as me tearing down Stingley ? Clearly you don’t seem capable of having a simple football conversation

One measurement that shows what a physical freak Pickett is his wingspan. He has the wingspan of a 6’11” player. Insane 33.5” wingspan. Almost like a 7 foot basketball player. Dude is a genetic freak.

You also made up that Stingley wasn’t good in zone earlier in the week. I’m not discrediting Pickett at all. Posting facts is not discrediting. Making up things is.

That’s your opinion brother I’m free to disagree with you and you’re free to disagree with me. I think Dj Pickett is just as talented as Stingley and as physically gifted as any corner this program has ever had so respectfully I don’t agree with you
