What coach acts like that during practice

Like 90% of coaches probably.

Is this newsworthy? Was anyone expecting the AD to say that firing the coach that he just fired wasn’t necessary?

The same one who's so thin-skinned he threatens to murder random callers on a radio show.

And here you are a year later still talking about it on a message board

Yeah, that's what message boards are for. He asked the question I answered.

I see the butt hurt is still strong with you when anyone utters a word that doesn't shed Orgeron in a positive light.

He's a bum. He was a bum when they hired him. He was a lucky bum in 2019. And he was a complete bum after 2019.

Was it ever determined who was the board of supervisor that Orgeron hit on his wife at a gas station?

I’m butt hurt? I know O isn’t a good head coach, I won’t defend him. I just didn’t think that Scott saying that it was necessary to fire him was newsworthy. I thought that was pretty obvious.

I think as fans we will never know the full extent of how bad Ed was after 2019.

A combination of 2019 and Covid immediately after was just more than he (and most of us TBH) could handle. I’m forever grateful for 2019 but it was better for him to crash quickly and let us move on and get coach Kelly than limp into mediocrity

he also despises woodward a lot. Even saying he fricked up the search and he would have to hire stoops from kentucky. Hes really an idiot.

Getting rid of O was absolutely necessary. Woodward agreeing to the ridiculous new contract and extension wasn't. That made getting rid of Orgeron more onerous than it had to be.

LSU had a national championship winning HC who was no threat whatsoever of going ANYWHERE besides LSU. A large portion of the football world gave Brady/Burrow the credit for the 2019 season, not O.

In the end though, Orgeron was too dumb to realize the position he was in. ALL he had to do was stay out of the on-field approach, like he mostly did from 17-19, and he would have been just fine. Instead, he wanted to run HIS defense...which destroyed the 2020 season and sent the program in recovery mode trying to replicate 2019 instead of using the vast resources to hire a new batch of proven coordinators to implement THEIR systems.

I have no problem with it. I just think it’s funny that you’re calling him thin-skinned while still thinking about a joke he made on radio a year ago. I get it though, it’s the off season, we’ve gotta have stuff to talk about on here

Well yeah, Woodward fired his boyfriend. And anyone with a brain knows Woodward had never hired O in the first place. He can't handle that rejection.
