Ooohhhh, that changes things a bit. I was sitting here thinking, in my whole life I can't think of a single Tiger fan who would ever say something negative in the presence of a current LSU player. It's not anywhere in the realm of possible conversation.

But, some black LSU fans may feel more of a kinship and that they can talk on a differet level.

You did perfectly by allowing it to go a little overboard then polietly stepping in! I'm sure the tipsy fan even appreciated it the next day. As my father says the first thing alcohol takes away is the ability to moderate your voice.

One can only hope that the players' experience is that they run into more fans like OP than the drunk "frats" by 100 to 1. Good character story. And we can use a lot of good character stories after the melee from last year's off-season Shady incident. Geaux Tigers and Kudos to the players.

If they can't eat in peace someone should at least pick up their tab.

It's nice to see that these 2 guys have class.

I wish someone would have slapped the frick out of bigmouth outside the restaurant.

Drunk guy needed a few kicks to the head.

And I bet the jerk is probably bragging to his friends now about how he "told it like t is, right to their faces" or something like that.

Why didn't you invite them to Shady's after dinner?

They had to be drunk to even think of getting into those two guys' faces. Lots of character and restraint in not responding back as too many here would have had the ranters been in their shoes.

I wanted to add to your comment about Mingo and Faulk. On the fourth of July, they were at the same party as my family. My parents spoke with them and told them I was a big LSU fan. My mom called me and both if them wished me a happy 4th. They both sent me a pic too. Was impressed at how much class these two have.

I love how mingo talks. He is such a country boy. You should have told that guy to gtfo. What an idiot. I am always jizzing my pants when I get to talk to an lsu football player not critiquing them. What an idiot. Faulk should have sat on his face.

I feel so bad that these guys can't go out to have a decent meal without being lectured by some fool who probably has never played a down of football in his life.

Shut your mouth. We don't talk about that this time of year.
