Looks like they are done with the outside?

I fricking hope not. They are missing windows and the rest of the stucco

ETA: Maybe they just moved the stuff for the outside to pour concrete and it will return after to finish the windows and stucco?

It'll be done before football season.

why would you install carpet...

buffers noise, prevents slips from spilled drinks etc. also hides stains

it can also be replaced relatively easily and cost effective. I'f concrete chipped or cracked its a much bigger issue. Would you prefer hard wood? Stained Concrete?

Tell me what a better surface would be?

carpet... because what could go wrong there?

I'm sure it is carpet tile.

People sound really dumb bitching about the carpet. Ever been in a casino? or the westside stadium club? or the club level of any arena or NFL stadium? This is about as standard as it gets.

High traffic carpet is inherently kind of tacky looking, but now that the other finishes are coming together this carpet is starting to grow on me. I think it looks good.

Would like to see if the East and West side ribbon boards extend the entire length and match up with the new one in SEZ.

Not sure, But I wouldn't hold my breath. Hate to said that, But the last few projects by LSU has really looked cheap and corners cut all over the place.

1. West side renovations and gates

2. The NEZ window recognition plaques for those who donated for the new windows. Looks like stucco stumps with a Really BAd angle on the Plagues, placed at random locations. Terribly designed.

3. Selling us these seat cushions for $50 each a year, when they could have replaced all the Endzone seats with chairbacks by now.

Why would they ever do that? Hmm... spend money to upgrade every seat to a chair-back? Or have 60% of the attendees pay us $50 for a seat cushion?

Bertman handled the west side. The gates aren't cheap at all, they just don't really match the facade. As far as quality, I've been to a lot of SEC venues, and it takes a seat to no one else really.

they would have to decrease the capacity by a decent bit to do this. the rant would go nuclear if we decreased the capacity. it'll inevitably happen though. regardless, it's just $50, and it's optional

The west side is hideous. The "tiles" and the slats over the windows, along with the "Tiger Stadium" cartoon lettering. Then the new SEZ with the Lego blocks on top and the big white y'all. Tiger Stadium looks like shite except on the NEZ

I wonder what they are going for with green, blue, and red lights in the lockers. Seems like the colors are random unless there is some sort of signal they are going for.

I'm sure the LED lights are just like the lights outside the stadium that have the ability to change colors

They did a really good job expressing the tops of those arched windows from inside the club level.

Mainly because it's not finished yet, but people were also saying similar things about the lights outside the stadium. Those were flashing different colors too, but they'll be purple and gold most of the time, like in the NEZ.

I don't think the bottom row was ever supposed to have windows. If they did this corridor would be a fricking oven in September.
