Has anyone received an email about the parking list yet?

I'm on the list and emailed LSU this week. This is the reply:

The parking selections will begin later in July after the ticket relocation/selections have ended. You should receive an email soon with your selection date/time for parking selections.

Guy sounded shocked. Again other season ticket holders got the same call as we did. I’m
Sure others said similar things.

Exactly. IF they really wanted to get more people in the seats, they’d make it more affordable so the real fans who will stay the whole game are in there and the sissy fans who are there for a photo op are already gone.

You got an “isle” seat. That’s a unique concept for a football stadium

Stadium is too big. Dick measuring contest on stadium size yields multiple losers.

Increasingly many folks simply don't want the hassle of going to games.

I think "hassle" is a good word to describe the variety of issues that have caused this.

The cost of season tickets has easily quadrupled since in first got them
22 years ago.

You could park in the CEBA lot for free.....then we had to move to knapp hall, then the AG center....throw in high prices for bad concessions. As an out of town fan you have travel and lodging. It's to the point that for the cost of taking a family of four to one game is so much that you could buy a big screen TV and feed everyone filet mignon for all 12 games.

Multiply that by seven home games.

The fad of neutral site big OOC games has taken away from the season ticket value. there are at most 2 'big" SEC games at home. I don't know how many times I walked into the stadium with tickets for the other SEC games that I couldn't give away!!! And then you have three rent a wins.

Heat has always been a problem. But the expansion of the piped in music and overwhelming advertisements have made it unbearable.

Throw in the poor product on the field.

I'm afraid it's gone, and it ain't coming back

Let’s ask Bama if it’s a problem for them.

It is. There was a thread on Tidefans within the last two weeks about lackluster ticket sales. And Saban has had ti call out fans multiple times about leaving early.

While true, Alleva exacerbated the problem by monetizing tailgating and his shite show hiring process

I agree that it is happening in other places and has happened for a number of years. But not everywhere. Some parts of the decline are specific to LSU. Particularly the changes to tailgatin, the parking and concession rip offs, and the rent-a-win scheduling. Add that to that sc.eduling more desirable games like Miami, Wisconsin etc at neutral sites instead of making part of the season package in lieu of Troy, La Tech, etc. Alleva just out-greedied the customer base and it will take a few years to turn around after he is gone.

I had 10 tickets and downgraded to 8 of which I sold 4 to a friend so he could take his family. This will be my last year because like many people have said, it’s just easier to buy tickets for $30-50 bucks whenever I want instead of the 925 TAF fee plus 460 or so that the tickets cost.
When I want to sell tickets I post on here and I get yahoos offering me $20 for a ticket that I have 190 to 120 in depending on whether they are on sideline or endzone.
It’s insulting and I just end up just keeping them or giving them to a deserving family that wants to take kids.

I must be in the minority because every evening since the 10th, first thing I did after work was get on my laptop to check the interactive map to see what went off the board that day in anticipation of my selection time on Tuesday.
I took a vacation day on Tuesday just to make sure I’m home. Hoping like all hell there are two consecutive seats available somewhere. I still enjoy spending my Saturday’s in the fall on campus much more than watching on TV.

There was a lot more movement on Friday than Tuesday-Thursday FWIW.

Now that’s what I’m talkin bout! Everyone can have their own opinion but I’m glad people like us still exist. Btw, there will definitely be seats available you don’t have to worry you’ll get a good pair. Geaux damn Tigers podnuh

And save thousands of dollars every year too. Could have bought a couple of MBs over the years instead of paying for season tickets

How “down” are their sales? Does it compare to LSUs?

You are full of shite. Just trying to start bs. Most likely never had a season ticket in your life. So many liars on here just trying to promote negativity. Fact is attendance is and will continue to decline all over, not just at lsu, and not just college. Big screen, cost, air, traffic, all changing the landscape of the stadium experience. But you go with your agenda.

Spot on.

O haters will down vote though.

I really like the 4 game package with Bama. I got that and I’ll buy Georgia tickets closer to game day. I’m undecided on Ole Miss
